Educational Insights Phonics Dominoes – Short Vowels - Manipulative for Classroom & Home, Set of 84 Dominoes in 6 Colors, Ages 6+

My students enjoy making words with these tiles. It's great for students who only know short vowel and consonant sounds. It was challenging for some of my students but most enjoy trying to create words. My only criticism is that the tub is really too small for the tiles. Unless you stack them perfectly (which most kids will never do) they do not fit in the tub. Be prepared to have a container for them.

I bought this set to use as a literacy station. I thought maybe I could split the bunch in half and get two sets out of it. However, I have enough to set up for six kids at one time. We disinfect in between uses and can let the whole class rotate through this activity. I'm always happy to find something that works well under the health restrictions we have with COVID.

My son likes these. We have been using them for a couple of days and it is already helping. We have just done one of the games on the instructions, but the others look good too. Also, the manufacturer really needs a jar that is a bit bigger. I can’t get them all back in the container.

These are an excellent resource for anyone working on building language. My students didn’t even realize they were learning!

I love each of these sets! It takes a minute to put them away by leaning the tub on its side, but I’m glad because then it doesn’t take up a lot of space on my shelf.

My students love this activity. My only complaint is the container that the dominoes come in are a little small to hold all the dominoes. I have to place them in there carefully to make them fit, there is no way my kinder-3rd grade students can get them all in.

There are so many games you can play with these domino's. Your imagination can run wild. You don't have to use all the colours at once. It comes with a handy little leaflet inside which gives you ideas on what to do with them. The colours are very bright and appealing to children.

Great product. Arrived on time. Bought several of these types of products. A couple of the containers were missing the handles. But did not affect product usage.
