I was sceptical; how good could it be for under $40? I've owned Dremel tools that were about the same specs. This tool is far better, well made and powerfull. The battery life was excellent , but after 10 minutes of high speed grinding the tool did get hot, thus the missing star. I like the selectable 5 rotary speeds. The LED lites to illuminate your work area work well. The tool starts at the 3rd speed which is 15000 rpm ( I believe it starts at at the 3rd speed to allow it to start up easier) then you may select whatever speed your work requires. The rotary speeds are 5k thru 25k rpm.The included assortment of grinding, polishing and sanding attachments is just about everything you could need. I have a Dremel tool and all their attachments fit the Hawkforce.I would highly recommend this tool to anyone wanting a portable battery rotary tool.
