Avoid Aspartame. Switch to sucralose
Any diabetic/calorie conscious person should reconsider their current sweetners based on Aspartame such as Sugarfree or Equal and move to either Sugarfree Natural or Splenda ( both based on Sucralose ). Even though Sucralose also has side effects, the reported cases are lower than Aspartame. Sucralose also doesn't have the bitter after taste of aspartame Aspartame has been linked to multiple side effects, even though research is inconclusive, and is best avoided. Splenda is the most famous artificial sweetner brand in the world. PS: Neither Aspartame nor Sucralose are recommended for cooking any products where cooking temperature exceeds ~200C

Splenda is as usual the best sweetner
Being a diabetic I have been using regularly and it tastes better than other low calorie sweeteners in the market. does not leave a after taste in your mouth like other sweeteners.
