This food-safe oil worked great on my new cutting board. Easy to apply.

My board arrived on time as expected. It was package very well. In fact, I was impressed with the box that contained the board itself. As advertised, it arrived in it's natural state but was still impressive upon first look. I was looking for any flaws and after about 10 minutes of looking it over and slowly rubbing my fingers across the front and back, as well as in the groove, I couldn't find a single thing wrong. I also ordered the oil and wax and got started immediately seasoning. I started with the oil. I must admit I was skeptical about it bringing out the darker natural color, but that's exactly what happened. I used an unused sponge brush that I didn't use to seal the grout lines in my shower. It was easy peasy! I could only smile as I applied the oil and watch as the color came out. I let it sit for a few hours and applied another coat. That's all it needed. I let it sit overnight and when I got home from work, I applied the wax. It's absolutely beautiful! I'm going to order the larger one, 18x24 I believe. I very highly recommend this board. I tried this product because of it's all natural safe qualities... I am so happy I did! I've always been against most cutting board oils because of the questionable ingredients, this has nothing in it but coconut oil, orange oil and rosemary extract! All things that I use in my kitchen already! My old routine was to buy a board use it until it broke (from drying out after washing too much) then buying a new one. My boards were looking bad, to the point where they were starting to split apart. I used this oil and what a difference! The cracks don't seem so bad and this oil (plus their wax) have given the boards new life! The water beads up on them again! They look good too! I should have taken before and after pictures, it truly is amazing. Now it can't repair all the damage on my old boards but I know that if used regularly on a new one it will last forever. Another great product from Virginia Boys. I cured my walnut cutting board with it. It smells great, it absorbs nicely into the wood and gives it a nice darker color. I would give it 5 stars, except that the bottle's design could be improved. It needs to be a squeeze bottle, or have a top with a smaller opening. I had an accident and wasted precious oil on a spill.

I used this on my new cutting boards and it worked so well I used it on all of my old ones. They look great.

I love that this is mineral oil free with out the Oder and possible side effects. Made my 40 year old salad bowel better than new once I sanded it. The oil penetrated and shined it up beautifully

I bought the kit with cream, pads and oil. I used it on a large chopping board that slides in and out of my counter. After sanding it, I oiled the board on both sides with the pads which were very handy avoiding messy rags. My chopping board now moved smoothly in and out of the countertop. I liked the directions giving me suggestions on how to use the product to keep my board looking good.

Followed directions from product web site. New cutting board looks amazing. Can't believe how much oil it has soaked up. Protecting my investment. Also treating all my wooden spoons and wooden handles on spatulas. Would buy again and recommend.
