Great item that works great

Grilling or cooking, temperature is the key. This works great, very fast, very accurate. If you don't have one, you should.

I would give this thermometer 5 stars but two things happened while at work using it over the last month. 1, unlike a lot of the Cooper-Atkins thermometers the contrast is pretty bad, so I had to use it's light function even in normal lighting. 2, one of the 2 I purchased just stopped working for no reason. I tried a new battery and still nothing. And then the following day it began working fine again. That was 3 weeks ago. No big deal but once you open it the rubber seal on the battery compartment won't every quite seal as well again. It is one of the fastest full size thermometers I have used. It also (AFTER the died for a day issue) survived being left in a hot box at 200 degrees for almost an hour by mistake. The LCD turned full black, but after it cooled back down was just as readable as before. Lastly who ever made the holder is a genius. Every other holder clips on a pocket on a sleeve or a actual pocket. This one can actually clip on my belt, so no searching for the holder when it falls off me.

I’m not sure why this has such terrible reviews. I’ve had this for almost two years now. And it by far the best thermometer I’ve ever used. It is easy to read, accurate. I’ve dropped it so many time still good. But the big difference I bought it for $11.71.

Works great for restaurants to check food temperatures.

Had it a year. In 0 degree temps or 90 outside its always functioned awesome. Reads fast. The backlight is great. Probe tip size is great. An absolute must have at the grill. For the price u can't beat this thing. Taylor makes great stuff. This is a restaurant commercial grade thermometer and the anti microbial is always a plus too. You can't go wrong. How u break off battery door is beyond me. Stop dropping it on cement people Buy it. You'll love it

I’m a chef and rely on my thermometers on a daily basis. This thermometer is by far one of the worst I’ve used. Typically, I would trust this brand but for some reason, they really dropped the ball on this model. I never submerge the thermometer but it started acting up after it was splashed with a little water under the tap when I rinsed it off. Ever since then it’s hit or miss as to whether or not I’m able to rely on it to take an accurate temperature. The screen is either legible or it goes all wonky like in the pics and sometimes it’ll go back to functioning normally again the next day. I don’t understand but I do know I paid too much for an unreliable piece of garbage! Also, I want to note that the markings on the buttons rub off VERY Quickly so after a short time, you may not be able to recalibrate this thermometer because you won’t know what buttons to push!

Buena calidad

Buen termómetro de rápida lectura, me sirve muy bien en mis clases de cocina. La única desventaja sería la pila que es muy difícil de conseguir en mi ciudad.

Justo lo que necesito además de buena calidad y funcionamiento.
