Some members of my family are allergic to the adhesive used on some brands of bandaids. They do not have a reaction to these.

I ordered these for my son. He works in a food production building where this type of band aid is required. These are just the regular rectangular type and can be used as general purpose. They are Blue in color which denotes metal detection bandages. The adhesive is strong and seems to work as expected.

Perfect for restaurant use. Also not outrageous on the price because it's for a business

Someone I worked with many years ago turned me on to the general superiority of food service bandages: if a blue bandage falls into food it is easily spotted because blue is the color that is least present in food.* These have excellent adhesion, and can easily be spotted by managers who may need to send a worker off to the ER for stitches or help them properly dress a wound. They are also skin-tone neutral so no one gets their fragile feelings hurt having to use a bandage that doesn't match their skin color.** Unfortunately, the most recent versions of these Curad Detectable bandages (including the knuckle and fingertip versions) have reduced the size of the bandage component in favor of having adhesive on all four sides of the tefla pad, so there is actually LESS protection and padding for the actual injury. So if you need a larger pad and more cushioning, you may want to consider the actual BAND-AID name brand Water Block Tough Strips or Nexcare Cushioned Waterproof Bandages. Admittedly, these are more expensive and don't come in food service blue, but you're supposed to wear gloves anyway, just buy blue gloves.*** * Not recommended for processing blueberries or blue corn ** Unless they are a Na'vi or a smurf *** FDA food regs, require food service workers to wear a glove in conjunction with the bandage. THESE BLUE BANDAGES REALLY STICK AND DO NOT COME OFF LIKE THE BANDAGES WE HAVE USED FOR YEARS. IPUT ONE ON MY ARM AND FOR GOT THAT IT WAS THERE, IT WAS TERE 24 HOURS LATER AND WAS STUK ALMOST LIKE DUCK TAPE BUT WAS EASDY TO REMOVE I WAS GIVEN A COUPLE BY A RESTAURANT WORKER AND HE SAID THAT IS WHAT THEY USE AS THEY WILL NOT COME OFF UNTILL YOU PEAL THEM OFF WILL GIVE A FEW TO MY FAMILY MEMBERS
