I required this type of metal brush along with the tough bristle brush to clean files. Works great. I am using it with small size files for precision work. This brush removes the debris caught inside of the file serrations. It was designed to work with larger files but works well with the small ones. The bristle brush also works very well. I found the overall quality to be excellent. It does the job the way I expected. For handling and keeping a grip on the handle, it fits my hands very well. What I also like is it is marked, "USA" on it. Not many of these types of products are still made in North America or Europe. If you need a good quality file cleaner with a metal type brush and a rear side bristle brush, I would recommend this one.

This file card brush does the job effectively. I was surprised how good a job the bristle brush side did to clean a wood file. I haven't had a chance to use the metal bristles to clean out a file after metal work, but they look like they would do the job. I recommend it.

What's to say. It does it's job and does it well for the price. It is sturdy and well made. Don't use the metal brush to scratch your back, the nylon brushes are much more suitable and less injurious.

This is an excellent tool to clean wood and metal files. A bit pricey but well made and easy to use.

A quality tool with a large, solid wood handle and good bristle brush and file comb faces. Highly recommended.
