Perfect for my 2 bunnies
I bought this as a temporary home for my 2 mini holland lop bunnies. I had recently purchased an outdoor hutch for them but it is too hot for them out there in the summer months here in NC. I needed an indoor "home" for them. I had been using the grated panels that are similar to this, but flooring in that set up was always an issue. Plus bunny fur was always getting wrapped up in the grates and it was hard to clean. This seemed to fix those issues. My bunnies seem to really love it too. It was super easy to put together. Even comes with a tiny mallet that I have kept and already used for a few other things. It holds both bunnies with plenty of room for a litter box, food and water. (And despite that they are called "mini" lops, they aren't all that mini. One is the size of my small cat.) Both bunnies can lay out and hop around as well as stand on their back legs. (All EXTREMELY important for rabbits.) I like that I can remove one side panel and let them out to play but they can hop back in on their own for the litter box and food/water. I did not use the included zip ties so that I could take apart when necessary. Holds up very well without them but if you plan on it being a more permanent structure I would suggest using zipties. These panels are very easy to clean. I just use my dust buster to clean up pellets and bunny fur and I can wipe them down quickly. My bunnies have occassionally "dug" in the floor panels and it doesn't seem to do any damage. Time will tell with that though. There are 2 things I don't like but neither would prevent me from buying again because they are easy to remedy. 1. The cracks between the pieces in the flooring, allow for stuff to fall through onto my floor so I have to clean under it, which means I have to move it. My space is kinda tight for that. I am probably going to use puppy pads or put down a carpet remnant to make sure my floor is protected. The 2nd thing is that I can't hang a traditional water bottle on the side. I know they make the ones that hang over the sides as opposed to ones that hook on cage wire so I will have to get one of those. For now I am using a bowl for water, which they do ok with but occasionally spill...not a big deal since the panels are plastic, but if they spill enough, it goes through a crack in floorong. Still far better than the wired panels though. I would highly recommend this for your indoor bunnies or similar small pets. Well worth my money. I wish I had found this earlier. No clue how much I've spent on trying to find the perfect housing for these guys.

Great play pen
I love that I ordered this and not a already built playpen. What started off as a quarantine center for a rescue kitten. Which was so cute BTW has turned into something greater. This allowed me to use my imagination and also give her space. Sturdy, easy to clean, easy to put together and easily taken apart. I ordered 2 sets and tbh i want to order another one. Its great spacious with just the one set. Big enough for a puppy, kitten, rabbit, bearded dragon, gerbil, guinea pig, and or other small animals. Especially if needed to separate for nursing, rescue, or medical purposes.

Almost the best thing I have ever bought for my ferrets!
I purchased this playpen for my three ferrets. They are escape artists and we have a lot of large animals so we cannot let them run free like I’d like to. This pin is a fantastic idea but if they designed one specifically for ferrets it would be way better. The parts were fairly easy to assemble but it does require a little bit of skill. Once you have everything put together fully With the zip ties it is very sturdy but you also can’t take it back apart if you want to move it somewhere. If you do not have the zip ties on every piece it will come apart! Another complaint that I have is the height. I know it’s not sized for ferrets but as I’ve said before it would be fantastic if they were size one for ferrets. The walls are about 3 inches too short to keep the ferrets from jumping out and the kit is about For small square short of being enough pieces to make it taller instead of having a floor. I decided to purchase a second pack so that I can just build a pen twice as big and I should have plenty of pieces to make it taller. I can guarantee you that cleaning will be difficult because if any feces or animal mess gets in the cracks on the walls it’s going to be very difficult to clean up.Other than the fact that it wasn’t designed for ferrets it is a pretty good product and I will continue to use it and adjust it to my liking!

Perfect starter cage for my piggies!
Perfect for my 2 female baby piggies! Will probably upgrade once they are another couple of months older, but this is all the space they need for now. Went together easily. They started popcorning & squeaking as soon as they went in!

No more wall climbing for my hedge!
This took me about 45 min to assemble on my own, not because it’s difficult, but because I really like to take my time making sure the connectors that have the branding name on it, are all facing right side up AND because I LOVED using the rubber mallet to realign all the sides perfectly so there’s no gaps in between!! Setup following the enclosed pamphlet’s picture instructions was pretty simple. The mallet is a LIFESAVER. Gets rid of a lot of gaps quickly and effectively! My hedgie absolutely adores this cage over her old wire deep bucket cage which was just as big but didn’t seem like it since the bucket took up a lot of space especially with the curves at the corners. With this cage, you can push the decor, tunnels, right next to the flat panels so there’s a ton more space. You can see from the pic we have a lot of items in the cage and yet there’s tons of room for running around and play. I highly recommend this cage for hedgies as she can’t climb the sides of her cage anymore like she did with her old wire cage. It was awful to check out our “events” in our Wyze camera in the morning to see her climbing on the wires of her old cage and then free falling (about a foot drop) to the bottom and landing on her back. Horrifying! This cage eliminates that problem because she can’t climb these smooth walls (she’s tried lol). Cleanup is fast and easy to, I just use a Clorox wipe to wipe down the sides of any messes she makes. Amaaazing!! Only thing I’m worried about is placement of the heater in the winter time. Not certain if the plastic might melt or if the panels of this cage will hold up the CHE’s clamp so I might have to either buy a heat lamp stand which I’m totally paranoid about it falling or somehow use a grid on part of the cage to serve as a roof like my wire cage had. Anyhow overall I highly recommend this for hedgies as it solves the climbing issue and now I can get a good night’s sleep knowing she won’t be able to scale this cage!! Awesome buy and great option for hedgie parents!

Great for my needs, but not perfect
So a year ago I took in two sister momma cats and their 9 kittens (yes 9) plus a stray kitten a neighbor found. So hubby is not a cat fan so containment was key to keeping the peace lol as soon and they started moving I started looking at indoor cages nothing worked just right (even this, but hang on) so with such a large group of cats I bought this two barred ones like the pic and another one that was just a different amount of barred pieces (and had two hammocks the kittens loved!). (These were used by the litter boxes to “contain” things lol) well now the fun part lol I designed and set up the cages a large area for kittens and a slightly smaller area for the mommas (only while trying to get the kittens to stop feeding of course) well they were a pain to fully snap together and some wouldn’t stay but some zip ties fixed that (plus the kittens liked spinning them and whatnot lol) I could only do so big before adding support but that was expected the doors were neat but the locks broke quickly! So don’t expect those to make it long! We added a mat under it to catch food, litter ect cuz cats, especially kittens are a mess lol for as large as I had it clean up under was not simple but the short “legs” to hold it up off the ground was handy I eventually had to invest in a vacuum just for this (after pic was taken) and then we got more cats .... yup more I had left over panels and all that so I made a mini cage with door..... these ones absolutely had to be separate as they were strays I caught I learned quickly that chunky adults could plow right through it if not fully secured! As in zip ties everywhere and I do mean everywhere! (Even the door for awhile while they adjusted had to do a new one each time thank goodness zip ties are cheap! Lol) so I kept this one smaller as I only caught one adult (he actually stayed the longest!) the three kittens/young adults were only with us about a week (only one wouldn’t let me near him 😕) they went to a vet that adopts out kittens (after an as I call it “kitty cancer” test was clean for them of course) so I only had the big guy who was a cranky guy but allowed me to change out his food, water, litter as needed after zip tying the crate closed I never had an issue with him escaping again (thankfully!) (he btw was adopted to someone who deals with semi ferals and is now tame and has dogs as besties!) back to the momma sisters and kittens, the kittens constantly when out of the crate playing would crawl under it 🙄 thankfully only a few were pain in the butts to get out lol I had a ramp inside leading to the litterbox it kept falling all the time 🤦🏻♀️ But eventually the kittens didn’t need it they did need the plastic (not barred) crate pieces I had gotten also around the litterbox as they kept kicking... “stuff” on the walls 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ All and all it was a bit spendy getting all I did and they weren’t perfect by any means but this was perfect for my needs as I could change things anytime as they grew

Great for small pets
Product is great. I use it for my pet rats. Secure and sturdy. Easy to assemble. I ordered a second set of panels to make it taller and it was very easy to add on to!

Worked well as a temporary duckling brooder
We recently hatched five ducklings and used the Songmics pet playpen as a brooder pen. Instead of using the panels meant for the flooring, I just kept the bottom open and used a guinea pig cage liner instead. This way I was able to use the floor panels to build up the sides with another level when the ducklings got larger and could potentially jump out. Putting the pen together was quite simple, especially since I had use a similar system (but with wire mesh panels instead of solid) to build a catio so I already had some experience with the joint connectors. I really liked that this system came with zip ties as you do need to secure the panels together with ties for extra stability. Tip - It’s best to secure the panels together with zip ties as you go along, otherwise the connections may come apart when you are working on another section. Adding the zip ties is the most tedious part of the process but necessary. The materials are very lightweight, and as I had to move the pen at one point, it was very easy to do. The design is simple and versatile, there are multiple ways you could put this together differently for different uses. It is also easy to take apart, clean and store for later use if needed.
