Review: A Solid Album - As a fan of Robyn's soulful early work, and especially her self titled ROBYN album (perfection start to finish), this album not only captures what we expect from Robyn (who can create perfect pop confection), she also shows up as a nostalgic 80's reminiscer–first channeling Janet Jackson (It's in the Music) and later incorporates welcome homages to Lil Louis's French Kiss (Send it to Robyn Immediately) and some Basement Boys/Crystal Waters (Between the Lines). The album is introspective not only about love and relationships in its themes (as in Missing You or Ever Again), but also feels reflective in it's use of sound memories, capturing the singularly personal longing for the younger days of self.

I love the hell out of this album, but it's a little more graphic than her previous albums... she for sure was horny when she was writing this album, and I'm here for every minute of it.
