bullet proof - well almost.
I do a lot of yard work, construction work and inspection in crawlspaces under houses. I put knee pads to the test. I also plan to use these for fly-fishing in small technical streams that require you to get on your knees to provide a low profile so you do not spook the fish. Because there is no cloth they will not hold water. As a past Navy Diver, I would use these if diving and working over coral, barnacles or other sharp bottoms. I love how these do not make me sweat as much as other knee pads do as the pads keep the plastic off your skin and allows for better air flow. The joint is as good as any other and is not stiff at all. The strap locks work great and do not come undone as those push button release straps. The strap adjustment could be better. But overall after 50 some years of construction and other work these are the best knee pads I've had to date.

Faulty strap.
Donβt strap it on too tight. The strap broke after a few uses.

I work in construction, high rise as a carpenter to be more specific. I had this knee pads for over a year now, totally worth the money and would buy them again, as a matter of fact i am buying two pairs now, one for me and one for my brother who is also a carpenter in high rise aswell, also a couple of co-workers already bought a pair each, as soon as they find out that I have had them for over a year and how comfortable, durable and perfect for concrete and rough terrains and that they stay in place. I highly recommend them.
