I'm no hippie, but I do like to try and avoid using harsh chemicals in my garden if possible. I do worry about things like hurting bee colonies so using a broad spectrum insect killer isn't ideal, but it was either this or lose the entire tree. Application was easy, just took a minute to hook it to the hose and start spraying. Almost immediately, beetles started dropping from the tree. I stood and watched as the entire swarm collapsed within minutes. I don't know if it will keep them off going forward, but I'm hopeful based on the directions for use. Next year, at the first sight of a beetle, the tree is getting coated, and if they target any others in my yard, they'll get the same treatment. I've got plenty of things blooming in my garden for the bees and other bugs to enjoy, so that's helping to minimize my guilt.
