Taydey A-Line Pleated Vintage Skirts for Women

It's a Beautiful Cotton Skirt with pleats. It feels like cotton twill. Not too stiff and not too soft. It feels expensive. Like a grown up uniform or girl scout skirt. I dress it up w/ heels, wear it to work w/ loafers, or on the weekends w/ a jean top. I bought it in Black and in Beige. I'm going to buy other colors. or just doubles as staples for Spring/Summer. I wear a 3x (20-22). The size is exact. It also has 2 buttons on the side to adjust/tighten the fit. It's a great fit & flare. I'm 5'6" and it's just below the knee. I plan to buy in other colors for work etc.

I very pretty, skirt! The material is a high percentage cotton with spandex. This makes for wrinkles when it comes out of the package, but a spray bottle of water took care of that. The spandex helps keep it that way in my closet. It's a midweight cotton do it has a crisp feel. This means the pleats stay beautifully and the skirt holds the shape uou see in the photos. I got the navy skirt with lemons first. It was so kooky, I knew it would bring smiles to those around me. I found that this skirt had a lot more to offer at a really great price. The colors shown are the colors you get. Thank you! The skirt is designed so the pocets are roomy and sewn to the side seams. There's a left side zipper to help you get into the skirt, but the back elastic allows for those of us with scrawny bottoms to just pull the skirt on. There are two buttons for adjustment at the waist! Brilliant! It doesn't get any better than this on those days when I need a bit more ease. Care instructions from this seller tend on the cautious side, but I personally wouldn't hesitate to wash mine in cold water. Cotton can shrink, so your skirt might end up shorter if you dry it or wash it with heat. I suspect it would be fine, but this is my educated guess. When I wash one, I will add my comments. All in all, a really cute skirt to dress up or down, well designed and affordable as well. Great for all but the cold winter months. These skirts fit true to size with the flexibility mentioned above.

Would give 5-stars, but I received someone's returned skirt still in the Amazon return bag with sticker and signs that they clearly tried to wear it before returning... Well, since I was leaving for Disneyland in the morning I couldn't return it myself so I washed it up and decided to roll with it. So glad I did because the complements I got helped made up for the rough start of the purchase. Skirt stayed put all day and the pockets were useful. I recommend ordering true to your waist measurement on wherever the band will sit on your body and don't stress about the size label. Based on measurement I was an XL, I maybe could have sized down to a L but then I think I would have been constricted. Highly recommend!

Taydey Skirts are impressive. I waited to receive my skirt, before ordering any others, because I wanted to try it on and make sure it fit nicely. Boy does it ever! So much so that I ordered their red with white polka dots skirt and their black skirt. The material is sturdy, and when I say sturdy I don't mean stiff, I mean durable. The hidden zipper goes on the left of your body. There are 2 clear buttons on the waistband that allows you to loosen or tighten it according to your need (on the left, near the zipper). The skirt's waist band also has a hidden elastic band sewn within it. Such a great feature for those of us that may have a Fuller Figure. I wore my skirt to church and got complimented. Oh, I should mention that I'm short (5 foot), and the skirt covers my knees but not my calves. I still felt super cute and not too 'stuffy'. I'll definitely be purchasing more Taydey skirts in other colors/patterns. Here's another thing I should mention... You can go out to eat, get nice and full, and not have to worry about a darn thing. I can guarantee you that your skirt will be comfy, flattering, and you'll still be looking adorable! The size I purchased is 2X (and I weigh between 155-160). I love the pattern of the skirt and have had my eye on it for a while. The pattern drew me and I was finally able to buy it. However I must say that while I am a little disappointed that the skirt came wrinkly, that can be fixed. What I deducted stars for was the fit. I am small at around 5ft and just over 100 pounds so I knew I was taking a chance with this skirt since I knew it ran long but it comes well below my knees and fell to my hips. If I pull the skirt up and hold it tight in the back it looks better but bunches. I am annoyed they didn’t have a smaller size but I suppose I knew the risk I was taking when I ordered and will just have to alter it. The skirt is not amazing quality but did not seem shear, picked, or stained on arrival either. All this being said you get what you buy and with this you’re buying an average mass produced skirt in a cute pattern. I personally think this product is about ten dollars over priced, but I did buy didn’t I?

This skirt fits true to size. The fact that the strap on the side has two positions you can button it to in order to slightly adjust the fit is great. The fabric is soft and comfortable. Despite the fabric being light, it is solid and not see-through. The stitching doesn't look cheap. The pictures accurately depict the colors. I first got a purple skirt, then one in the polka dot pattern. Both look just like the pictures. Perhaps my only disappointment is that the pockets, while very good, are not quite deep enough for a full-size phone. It fits, but it fell out once, and I feel I need to a bit careful about the phone when wearing this skirt. But this isn't a big enough issue to really bother me, or take off a whole star in this review.

The description says it's cotton but it's made of a blend of synthetic material. It's still a nice skirt but I wanted a cotton skirt.

Great for the price. Not lined but nice thickish cotton with a touch of spandex. Sewn well, with an extra button at waistband to adjust up or down. Awesome- 2 pockets!!!!! I am a Large in Aust sizing so I went with the XLarge For a Chinese sizing make. Glad I did! The design is full pleated from waistband (As opposed to a sewn down dropped pleat) so it’s a real retro 50s look. Print is nice - vibrant bright lemon yellow - and will go with a lot of looks. It’s perky and will look neat ‘officed up’ will a slim cropped blazer and little sleeveless top and wedges of flats.
