Garage Door Bottom Weather Seal - Factory 16' Seal!

Perfect size and fit. Very easy to install with one person pulling it in through the groove and a second person feeding it in. Because it is rolled up in the packaging, the bottom turns out having little dips about every 5 or 6 inches, but it seals fine. I think in time and heat of the summer the dips go away. It a great product and I’m very happy with it.

Originally bought the "2 piece", it wouldn't fit in the channel. Sent it back and got this, it fits perfectly, 15 minutes to install, seals and looks great. Well with the extra money.. No hassle.

We installed this product and it has been on our garage door for about a month. The rubber has not relaxed and expanded into shape in order to create a weather seal. Spent $50 on this product. Very upset. Just spent $40 on a different product from Amazon. Hope this next one works.

As other revierers noted, I used a little WD-40 to slide it in the groove - no problem.The seal was kinked in several places due to cramped packaging. I set the seal out in the sun for most of the day, but that had little effect on the kinks.After 2 months or so, the kinks are getting a little better.

The product fit well. It came quick and I ordered the 16 foot. It came a bit longer so you can cut for size just in case.I do suggest you were gloves and use WD40 on the seal as you are sliding it through the rail. Is best to do it with two person one pull while the other one feed and applying WD 40.

Worked great length allowed me to do two single doors, which was not my original plan!

The seal arrived rolled up in a small box. While the dimension would have been correct for my application, the material is so thin that it never expanded back to the original size it should be after it was installed in order to seal the gap at the bottom of the garage door. Tried to insert an extra cost rubber hose into the tube bottom to expand, but this is not really the way this is supposed to work.The original seal was much sturdier, this is just a cheap replacement, but at $50+ not really cheap at that. Out of lack of options I'll keep it, but it's not really a good quality replacement.

Old seal pulled right out, installing the new one is a little difficult. Now that it in I am hoping it straightens out due to being cold outside. It is nice that it is the correct one for my application! Now I need to find another seal for my barn door.
