I wish I'd just jumped on the Dragon Shield bandwagon a lot sooner ...
For years I just bought cheap sleeves and didn't buy into the hype on these. I saw a decent price for a bulk buy (we have a lot of deck games (pokemon, starwars, lorcana, etc) at home and I like to have matching sleeves. It also makes it easier if I'm tossing something together for a league challenge or something where having 100% matched sleeves is required. In any case, I will never again buy another brand of sleeves (unless something drastic changes on quality). These sleeves have been durable (not amazingly so over cheaper ones, but still very good). The real difference is in QC and consistency in shuffling. It is SO much easier to mash shuffle with these (I'm a riffler usually). With some other brands of sleeves mashing can be ... hit or miss, these Dragon Shields though ... no issues at all. The color (black) that i picked is, boring ... but it's easy and looks fine. A little more shiny than what I'd like, but not to the point it's an issue. Hands down, best sleeves I've used (and I've used prob. 20 different brands).

Just get these
I can't recommend these enough. I have bought at least 100 boxes of these sleeves to sleeve cards from various TCGs, CCGs, and board games, and I simply keep coming back. They feel great, they look great, the last long, they protect the cards well, they shuffle fantastically. If you care about form and function over all else, these are the sleeves. The only reason I ever buy other sleeves is when I need different colors for games that need to keep certain decks separated, and even then I tend to go with Dragon Shield unless I only need 50 or fewer sleeves, in which case I'll go with some other brand. I will admit that these do cost a bit more than the other brands, but the extra ~$1 per hundred sleeves is worth it every time. I will note that of the 100+ boxes of these exact Dragon Shield Matte Blacks I've purchased (across multiple different sellers and distributors, and over the course of a decade), I have gotten exactly one box that was slightly mis-cut and the sleeves were ~1 mm taller than the rest. I don't really consider this to be a knock on these sleeves, though, because how often do you need a whole 10,000 sleeves to be exactly identical? Normally you're sleeving ~100 cards for a TCG deck or >1,000 cards for a board game deck. If you are in the market for 10,000 sleeves of the exact same size, then I guess buy 101 boxes to be safe?

I would recommend
I really like these sleeves. I changed recently to these because production of my previous matte black sleeves changed/declined. So far these have been pretty consistent in style/color/fit/durability. I would recommend these sleeves.

Best sleeves for the price!
Such a great price for quality sleeves. Clear and easy to shuffle. Never had any issues with the durability or fit for magic the gathering cards.

Always buy Dragon Shield
Every sleeve has been perfect. Used for my Arkham Horror collection and haven't had a single failure.

Some cases are unusable, but most are top notch
Update after buying another case: It looks like it wasn't an issue with the entire production lot, as this new case was all from that same lot and all 10 packs are fine. I went through and checked all 10 packs in the first case and they're all unusable, so it may have been just a fraction of the lot, or some issue that occurred to that case after packaging (I could see how high temperatures might lead to this sort of sleeve deterioration). Regardless, there's some step in the manufacturing/distribution chain that can result in entire cases being unusable, but it seems most cases (based on the other reviews) aren't impacted. This is the cheapest per-unit way to get Dragon Shield sleeves and I'd recommend it if you need a lot, but be sure to check some/all of the packs before the end of the return window. Bumping from 1 star to 4; still not 5 because having to make sure they're usable and having to return the ones that aren't is a pain. If you get the good ones, though, they're the best sleeves I've ever used. Original review: Title: Way worse than normal Dragon Shields The particular 10-pack of sleeves I received is the worst QCed thing of sleeves I've ever encountered, of any brand, even though in the past Dragon Shields have been consistently high-quality. With about half of the sleeves (I've checked 3 of the 10 boxes), the left side separates while sleeving cards. It isn't super obvious from looking at the empty sleeves and you won't necessarily notice it from looking at them without trying to manipulate them, but it's consistent and makes them unusable. As best as I can tell it's due to either an issue with the heat sealing/gluing process that connects the clear front to the opaque back, or a slight misalignment of the cuts relative to the sealing lines. I've attached a few photos. In the ones with stacked cards, the top one is in an identical DragonShield sleeve from an older purchase, and the bottom is in one from this box. The sleeved cards are identical in identical KMC Perfect Fit inner sleeves. Some of the other comments have suggested these aren't real Dragon Shields - as best as I can tell, at least with the ones I received, that's not the case. Looking at them through a loupe, the materials in a regular good sleeve and one of these bad ones look identical, it's just an issue with the edge seals. The boxes also appeared intact, match the other ones I have lying around (although they're from a different production lot), and have legit-seeming shrinkwrap. The production code (on the inside of the bottom flap of each box) is "2656871 S1 2899" produced (I assume) "11/01/2025" (it's a Danish company, so that's January and not the future). I should still be able to return these, but it's annoying that I have to and means I either have to unsleeve an existing deck or hold off on trying out one of my new decks until I can get replacements. Background: Prior to this pack, I've purchased 48 100-packs of Dragon Shield sleeves over the past two years, either as singles or packs of 5. 35 of those are the same matte black version as these (version "AT-11002"). I've also purchased many other sleeves over the past few decades (primarily UltraPro) but switched to exclusively Dragon Shield in 2023 due to their consistently high quality and durability while shuffling. So, I consider myself fairly knowledgable about TCG sleeves.

Good for standard card sizes
This the best bang for your buck if you play card games, we needed uniform sleeves for our MTG vintage cube, so this worked out well. Will probably buy another set down the road for CAH along with some white ones too

Great product, Great company, and Amazing support
Company was amazing with there work. Was given a date and it arrived well over 5 days early. They clearly messenged me and kept me well informed of my package at all times. Product was packed very well, and product (a whole display case) came in great working order. 10/10 service and would gladly recommend to anyone.

箱の品質は非常に悪かった。半分くらい使ってるけど全箱は開けたらすでに裂けているスリーブがあり一回シャッフルすればさらに裂ける

Collectors and player's alike prefer dragon sleeves, and with good reason: they are durable, shuffle well and look great.

Dragon Shields make great sleeves handsdown. Buying sleeves in bulk is the only way I will ever buy sleeves again. I have all my cards in the same DS black sleeves making it easy to switch cards between decks and to replace sleeves when their corners bend. The corners on these sleeves will bend and depending on usage you will have to replace sleeves here and there but you have so many that replacing the odd sleeve is no big deal. Don't expect your sleeves to last forever. I use to buy KMCs in bulk and one thing I love about Dragon Shields is the boxes you are left with after you sleeve up your cards.

Just the title, fascinated that dragon shield does not have the quality control to avoid this.
