Ive had redness and itching around my face and beard for years. I've tried everything under the sun with no luck. It's like a week cycle. My face gets dry, then gets red and itchy, then cracks, then flaky skin and this repeats over n over which has spread over the years. Dermatologists said it was some auto immune thing prescribing cipro etc nothing worked. But this soap seems to have worked almost immediately. First 2 days it burned pretty bad but now not at all. My skin is back to normal like it was probly 5 years ago. I can shave, it isn't dry, red, or itchy. Rarely do I find things in life that work so well but in this case I think I found a winner for sure.

I have struggled with skin issues for several years, and medical professionals have been unable to determine the cause. They have suggested that the issues may be related to my mental state, possibly influenced by my past experiences. Despite being in my twenties and now in my forties, the stigma associated with addiction continues to affect my interactions with doctors, which is disheartening. I suspected a fungal infection from the beginning, considering my residence in Florida and my cleaning activities at the time, but no doctor took my concerns seriously. Consequently, I have been dealing with these unpleasant breakouts that spread due to my touching them. My quality of life had diminished to a low level, and I rarely left my home because the breakouts made me appear as though I were using drugs, which I wanted to avoid. I have been trying various remedies to find relief. The condition affects my scalp, face (particularly my nose and eyes), and I now have a yeast infection in my throat resulting from a tooth infection. It is not the most pleasant topic to discuss. However, if you are experiencing similar issues, this information might be helpful. I utilized AI and shared photos of the most affected areas: my neck, behind my ears, and nose. The AI indicated that I had Jock itch and Tina versicolor, and that the infection was severe. I then started using this soap on my neck, arms, and nose. It caused a burning sensation and redness, which I believe indicates that it is working. While the condition has not worsened, it has not yet improved either. I am optimistic that continued use will bring positive results. I will update my review with photos when I observe changes, even though I am hesitant to share them. Additionally, I had hair extensions, which I removed due to excessive itching. When I washed the extensions (which I take good care of), the part that was near my scalp, when soaked with this soap, released an oily substance and other debris that had accumulated on my head after weeks of wearing them. The significant point is that I had soaked them before using the soap, and nothing came off until I used THIS SOAP! Therefore, it definitely works on your head if you wish to wash your hair with it, and I intend to do so as well! So, if it helps someone, that is all that matters! This product is potent, and I was unsure what to expect, but I am content with the results so far. If you suspect you have a fungal infection, this might be beneficial for you as well. Consult with your doctor if they are willing to believe you, but I do not have that option. I will provide updates later. I have eczema around my eyes so bad for the last year and a half. I had to stop wearing makeup, I’ve been unable to wear lash extensions. I’ve been using steroid cream prescriptions that constantly irritate my eyes and mess up my vision. Although I was able to get it down to just patches of rough dry skin, it never went away. I USED THIS SOAP 4 TIMES AND MY ECZEMA IS GONE. The first time I used it (nighttime shower), it did sting but that was due to my skin having cracked. I used it again both morning and night the last day and a half and my eczema is gone. Not reduced to a dry patch, GONE. I am blown away and so so grateful.

I bought this bc I had read some scientific literature that suggests that zinc is effective against mild acne. In the past I had been using a three part regimen (1. wash with antibacterial soap, 2. chemically exfoliate with AHA based peel (i use one made by alba botanical and it's amaazzinngg), 3. 2% benzoyl peroxide lotion). My old regimen was certainly effective, however I am very lazy and three steps is apparently two too many for me so I figured I'd give this soap a try given that it has some scientific backing. Also, the benzoyl peroxide lotion stains EVERYTHING, like bleaches it white, which is super annoying bc i own a lot of clothes that are black/dark grey. Boo. Needless to say, I had high hopes for this soap! Unfortunately, I didn't notice any difference on my skin at all. I used it to wash my face and also my chest once a day in the morning after I work out. I don't have a ton of acne but I've been on this kick lately where instead of imitating flawless skin with foundation and i just want to HAVE flawless skin ya know?? #wokeuplikethis SO, yeah. It wasn't effective for me, but everybody's body chemistry is different, particularly when you're talking about acne and the human microbiome - everybody has different ratios of commensal bacterial/fungal/viral populations on ur skin. I think I am going to start taking a probiotic I just bought and then maybe give the soap another try, but if nothing else it's just good regular soap lol.

Ordered this after reading that a 2% zinc pyrithone soap would help seborrheic dermatitis, but was unable to find any for sale locally in Aus. Wasn’t sure if it would help since i’d used Nizoral shampoo in the past but it stopped stopped working. This ACTUALLY WORKS!! 1 minute after soaping with this, the flakes on my face disappear! It is quite drying so you will need to moisturise afterwards, but IT WORKS VERY QUICKLY! Definitely a new staple in my house.

This is better than any cream for seborrheic dermatitis.. but don't overuse it .. once a day is the right dose to me.

Within 5-10 seconds of contact with my skin it BURNED like hell. I have a very high tolerance for pain and am usually able to handle a lot however this was something else. I had patch tested on my arm and it seemed fine, but the next day using on parts of seb derm on my face and hairline it felt like I set myself on fire or poured pure acid on my skin. Even after washing off the burning continued for about 1-2 hours. Also the parts of eczema (atopic derm) on my neck that this soap had transferred to are now the most inflamed and itchy they have been in about 15 years. Woke up the next day even after using a hydrating serum and moisturiser I look like I've aged 10 years overnight like being on that planet in Interstellar. Not to mention small pustules and clusters of pustules all over my face that came up overnight, which I haven't had ever. With just 20 seconds of contact with my face this product has made me look like I've been living inside a dehydrator for 6 months. NEVER AGAIN will this product touch my skin.
