Perfect for Sharp Wings, but Use a Good Sharpener!
Review: If you love a sharp, almond-eyed look or a precise winged liner, this Tattoo Liner is of excellent quality. However, you should keep in mind that this is not the product for you if you are looking for a "smudged" or smokey effect. True to its name, once you draw a line, the pigment sets quickly and stays exactly where you put it—just like a tattoo. Pros: Staying Power: The pigment is intense and doesn't budge throughout the day. Precision: Perfect for defining the eyes with clean lines. Global Appeal: I purchased this from Argentina, and I honestly wish we had access to the full range of colors here! I would definitely buy it in other shades if they were available. Cons / Things to Watch Out For: The only downside is that it doesn't come with its own sharpener. The texture is a perfect middle ground between a pencil and a crayon—it’s creamy but firm. Because it’s not a hard lead, it can be a bit tricky to sharpen. If you don't use a high-quality sharpener, you might end up wasting product or breaking the tip easily. I highly recommend being careful and using a sharp, makeup-specific sharpener to get the most out of it. Overall, the quality is top-notch. I will definitely be looking to get more colors soon!

Precise and Long-Lasting Eyeliner
This eyeliner has a smooth texture and is easy to apply. It glides on effortlessly, giving bright, intense color with the perfect thickness. The glitter is subtle but beautiful, and it lasts all day without smudging. Highly recommend!

Flattering color and smooth texture
This Maybelline TattooStudio eyeliner pencil is one of my absolute favorites! I keep ordering it and have several in various places, like my bag, vanity table, car and camper to ensure one's always available when needed. The texture of the gel pencil is satiny and it applies smoothly without pulling on the skin around my lash line. The color is intense and it only takes one coat to make a highly pigmented dark gray line, which can be blended into a smoky frame for the eyes by applying gray or dark brown eyeshadow over it with a thin flat brush. Fans of 1990s movies may remember "The Craft," and the exceptionally stunning eyeliner worn by Fairuza Balk, made even more prominent because it contrasted with her light colored eyes, ivory skin and dark hair. She has a "winter" complexion, and this gel pencil is a way to get that mysterious smoky look! The charcoal shade is dark enough to make my lashes look thicker, but not harsh or aging like a solid black pencil would be. The dark gray brings out the blue in my eyes without being an obvious "color" like green, purple or blue. I've accidentally fallen asleep with it on and woke up to find smoky lids still pleasantly smudged, so it's durable. The pencil is a great value since it only takes one application to stay on all day, especially after being reinforced with my dark eyeshadow applied on top of it.

Super Pigmented, Long-Wearing, and Glides On Smooth
This eyeliner seriously impressed me with how bold and rich the pigment is. The Deep Onyx shade is a true, intense black that shows up immediately with just one swipe, no need to go over it multiple times. It glides on really smoothly, almost like a gel, so it’s easy to apply even on delicate areas like the waterline. Once it sets, it stays put. I’ve worn it for long days, in heat and humidity, and it doesn’t smudge or fade. Definitely lives up to the “36-hour wear” claim. It’s also waterproof, so tears or rain won’t budge it. One thing to know: it’s a sharpenable pencil, not a twist-up. You’ll want a sharpener that can handle soft, creamy pencils, because the formula is rich and smooth, but once sharpened properly, the application is flawless. If you’re looking for a super pigmented, long-lasting liner that won’t let you down by the end of the day, this one delivers big time.

Very Good but Can't Sharpen
Don't get me wrong, this is a very good eyeliner in fact it's a great liner. It glides on smooth & is long lasting. The liner comes in so many great colors & the price is very reasonable. However, I'm giving it 3 stars b'cus it's impossible to sharpen! 🤦🏽♀️ The tip is not wooden like a pencil, its plastic & its no way to turn or twist the liner to get to the product. Seems like a waste to me, b'cus once you use it a few times its over. That can be very costly if you can only get to use the product 2 to 3 times. Maybelline is million dollar company, they should've at least made the tube twistable or given us good sharp sharpeners in the package 🤷🏾♀️ Maybe if enough of us consumer's would write reviews & make a fuss of this, they would get the packaging right.

Easy to apply and stay put
I have hooded lids and have always had issues with eyeliner spreading to outer corners and below my eyes over time. This eyeliner is not only soft and easy to draw a substantial line on my upper eyelid, but it does not budge all day. I find this easy enough to remove since I double cleanse with an oil cleanser first. My only complaint is that a lose a lot of product when I sharpen it. A built in or even a recommended sharpener would be helpful. I will continue to purchase this though because it’s a great liner for the price.

Bought 3 colors..
First off I will say, you will need a makeup remover balm (I use E.L.F.) or that Micellar water to remove this eyeliner. Just using only a cleanser-makeup remover (I use CeraVe) will not get the eyeliner off completely. I use the ELF balm & then the CeraVe cleanser-makeup remover. If you use only the cleanser, you’ll be wiping all day. Raccoon eyes. Now onto my review: I purchased the Aurora Flip, Rich Amethyst & Bold Brown. I have brown eyes; I was hoping the Rich Amethyst would be darker like a plum but to me it’s bright like a burgundy. It made it appear as tho my eyelids were bleeding, like you see in the movies. That reddish pinkish tint. Aurora Flip, absolutely love this color. However, the glittery sparkly does “fall” & goes under my eyes, falls onto my cheeks. So I see that annoying sparkle spot on my cheek constantly. But unless I can find a similar eyeliner to this color, I will still repurchase. Bold brown, LOVE. LOVE. LOVE. No raccoon eyes. No smudging. Altho when I put it on, I do have to be careful not to get that small speck of liner on my contacts. As I said, just use that Micellar Water or Makeup Balm remover to get the eyeliner off. Using only a cleanser will not work.
