Solid Product, save your day
It saves my day! My bathroom water hose has a leaking problem and I find out to replace the whole thing would cost 600+. I did some research online and find it's likely to be fixed by replace with this small parts. It was some work to disassemble to reach where I could change this part. I found out I just need to replace the red plastic one on the top but this product is cheap so I just replace the whole thing. It works great after 1 month of the replacement and compare to the 600+ it truly saves my day.

fixed my leak
This solved the problem with the control unit leaking onto the counter. There are youtube videos about the sequence of disassembly to get this out but the videos were filmed with new faucets. In the real world with corrosion and lime deposits, figure extra time, vinegar or CLR solvent, and a heat gun to get it apart. Scotchbrite pad to clean parts for reassembly. I'm sure professionals know this already.

Works in a Signature bathroom faucet.
I have a Tarver Single Hole Bathroom Faucet, SKU:931525, by Signature Hardware. No parts list or information about this faucet, did a lot of Googling and made an educated guess that this Kohler Part #GP1017426 valve would work. And it does!! Installed today fits like the original and not leaking. Makes sense the manufacture would use a common part. Hope this helps someone else out! Dave D.

Genuine Kohler Part Works Great
Watched some YouTube videos to get the correct part no. for my kitchen faucet, which was leaking from the lever - it is a one lever faucet. There is a plastic sleeve that is included on the top metal piece of this part. I had to remove the old sleeve that was stuck inside the lever. Don't remove the black plastic sleeve from the new replacement part. The End.

Fits 647 vs remote valve perfectly
Easy once old one is removed. I had calcium build up so everything was frozen. Out comes blow torch and all’s well. Soaked handle and other parts in vinegar and soda before putting valve back in. If not for the calcium build up it’s a 15 minute job. Florida CaCO3 in water over last 10 years turned it into 2 hours. Most important is part is perfect and fast delivery.

Fixed my leaking Forte bathroom single handle faucet that was leaking around handle. Make sure when installing to press it down so it is snug and use the grease.
