This wrench does wrenching things and maybe more.
Engaging this wrench on a Scepter gas tank will not only easily remove the cap but will also tighten it as well. It's like have two wrenches magically melded into a single wrench that can work in either direction. This would also make a great weapon, as it is very robust and stout. I have not tried to defend myself or attack anyone, yet, but I feel confident it would perform well in both situations. Since I purchased this amazing tool I have not noticed any weight loss but I am hopeful. Overall it is well engineered, made of premium materials and has a can do attitude. Would recommend.

Excellent Product
This is a solid tool. It appears to be made of glass fiber reinforced nylon, so exceptionally strong and stable. Assuming this is glass reinforced nylon, then this is about half the strength of solid steel. This thing is pretty thick and beefy. There is no defection or flimsiness to this. I had been using a strap wrench to open the cans, but this is much much better. When the Scepter gas cans are in the sun, they build up maybe 25 psi inside and jam the opening nut. The strap wrenches struggled, but this wrench works great. I'll definitely recommend this to others.

The USGI MFC plastic Jerry can cap wrench, prevents leaks while allowing the caps easy removal.
A wrench for the cap of the USGI MFC plastic Jerry can. To ensure no leaks the cap for the MFC must be tight, this wrench enables you to easily tighten the cap and also to loosen it. And while you're at it why not get a new Viton gasket and the aluminum flange for MFC cap? The standard plastic flange can distort and crack, the aluminum flange retains the Viton gasket and doesn't distort and crack. You'll be glad you did...

Excellent Tool
This cap wrench works perfectly. I had a few caps that were put on in summer and when I went to open my MFC cans this winter to rotate my fuel supply; I found the caps VERY difficult to open. This wrench gives the right amount of leverage needed while fully engaging the cap without damage.

Works great
If you own a Scepter military gas can (the best btw) you need these to wrench the lid off the cab. Works great. Expensive but pay once cry once. If only it came with an auto locate feature though! I bought two so I can misplace one.

A must for Scepter MFC’s
JAGMTE has been around for years so I trusted their products. Pleased with quality and the fit and finish is perfect. Definitely a must for Scepter cans, good luck getting the cap off with your hands when the pressure from temp and altitude changes seals the cap on tight.

Does not fit my Scepter water jugs.
The wrench looks well made. However, it does not fit my Scepter water jugs. I assumed the water and gas jugs would have the same cap. I returned it to amazon.

A must-have
If you have ever gotten in the field and couldnt get the cap off of your can, you know the importance of having a wrench. This thing is beefy and works great. We were in the middle of moab a few years back and a buddy couldnt even use his fuel because we couldnt get the cap off of his can. If youre going to use the scepter cans (the best), get this wrench.
