A creative design, well-executed!These hooks are well-made, strong, attractive, and easy to install, performing well in drywall or wood (studs).Although the instructions state no drilling is necessary, I found if you drill a small pilot hole for the tip of the plastic anchor first, it aids in insertion, as it's a bit difficult to screw plastic straight through drywall, without the tip already having found purchase.I love these, having used 5 just recently, as they allow me to easily turn the plant incrementally towards the light source, for more equal, healthy growth.They're hard to find locally, but as long as they're on Amazon, I won't use anything else.

These look really good- I like that you can’t see the hardware. They were easy to install. Heavy weight in that they are quality but not too heavy.

I'm in love with these. I bought one a while ago to hang a planter in a bedroom, from the ceiling. I was dreading putting it on because it's always such a hassle to screw things into walls. I was very pleased and shocked at how easy these are to install. You just need your screw driver, and the anchors slide in without any issues. Once the screw goes in, you can tell it holds a good amount of weight. The hook just snaps easily into the screw. I was so pleased, I ended up buying two more for other rooms. This Elephant Hook Ceiling Hanger is very sturdy and bigger than I anticipated even after reading the size/dimensions in the product description prior to buying. But, that is actually one of the things that I have appreciated about it. I had purchased this to hang a patio tealight chandelier, except I hung it indoors in preparation for our daughter's Sweet Sixteen some while back, which we've opted to leave up for a while longer to continue to enjoy it. We use LED tealights in the chandelier, so that means frequently needing to reach up there and manually turn them on, which means we are putting some stress on the chandelier itself. Because this hook swivels, that helps to make this task much easier. We were fortunate enough to have a stud right where we wanted to place this (12-15 lb) chandelier, so my husband decided it would be quite sturdy enough with the screw only and without the included plastic anchor.In addition to the metal chandelier, we have tulle and artificial vines running through the hook, and have had no problems with it's stability or strength. I chose the white hanger because our ceiling is white, and I didn't want the hook itself to stand out. This hanger is very sturdy and one that I would not hesitate to buy again if I ever need to hang anything of any substantial weight from the ceiling again.

I looked long and hard for an attractive swag hook that I could use in the concrete ceiling of my first floor condo. This turned out to be a great choice. I drilled a hole for a lead shield that was sized for the included "special" screw. I added epoxy to the outside of the shield before securing it with the screw and let it cure for 24 hours. The beauty is that the hook can be installed afterward and it rotates on the special screw so there is no concern about the angle being in a fixed position. It not only looks good but you could now hang an elephant on this hook. If you have a more typical ceiling material the fasteners you will need are included with the hook. Great product.

Seem solid, are doing the job, but turn more freely than I had been led to expect (from other reviews). Ok, but not ideal from my point of view. They're just holding hangers for laundry in my case, so it's more an aesthetic complaint than a real functional one.

I originally bought three of these to hang art glass from the ceiling and several years later bought one more when I added to my collection. They have a clever design that covers the mechanical aspects that connects the hook to the ceiling. They are also modern, unlike the baroque looking hooks that my grandma used and are still available at my local hardware store. This is a great choice for anyone interested in a sleek and reliable hook.

Used this to hang a mobile for a nursery where I did not expect to hit a hoist. Went in easily and holds nicely. I’m sure the hole it will leave is huge but I guess that happens whenever you need to use a wall anchor. Love the white and how it does not look unsightly with the rest do the decor.
