DAVIDsTEA Organic Cream of Earl Grey Loose Leaf Tea, Premium Black Tea with Bergamot and Vanilla (2 Ounces)

I ordered the Cream of Earl Grey. I've had it before and needed more. I used to buy this flavor from Teavana, but theirs is not the same since they were bought out by Starbucks in 2012 (it says they added Lavender to the blend). I tried Davids then, and it was wonderful. It's loose tea and comes in resealable plastic foil bags, so it stays fresh. Davids also makes tea in sachets (what we call tea bags). There's no cream in it, but the addition of vanilla to the black tea and bergamot petals gives the brew a creamy taste. Very soothing. They make many other flavors, all delicious. Another favorite of mine is the Chocolate Chilli Chai. Nicely warming on a snowy night and yes, Amazon carries it.

I love Earl Grey Cream and decided to give this a try. The price was really reasonable. The tea was fantastic. Perfect flavor and not too strong. I can't wait to try some of their other teas. Highly recommend!

I've had Earl Grey tea with cream in other brands, but this was more like "Earl Grey with Vanilla". Too much vanilla flavor that overpowers the Earl Grey.

This tea is delicious. Earl Grey with something extra. I think that something extra might be magic, because the ingredients add up to more than the sum of their parts. Try it if you like Earl Grey. Try it if you don’t like Earl Grey.

I did NOT notice it said Earl Grey WITH VANILLA. I am not a fan of vanilla in tea or coffee. I think the flavor of the Earl Grey is great, but not the vanilla. I will occasionally drink it.

At first try, I inadvertently used too much tea and also had it steep too long. This resulted in a very strong cup of tea with no hint of vanilla or bergamot. My bad. With my 2nd cup I used 2 teaspoons and steeped for 3-4 min. What a difference. Simply perfection. Unlike run of the mill Earl Grey, this Earl Grey Creme is smooth with the right amount of vanilla to play a supporting role.

This tea has a strange chemically floral flavor. It tastes like an unnatural additive was somehow infused. Tastes like medicine. I can not recommend. Very disappointing.

So, this tea is certainly drinkable, but how this as marketed as Early Grey or, worse, Cream of Earl Grey is beyond me. I see a lot of people saying that they taste no cream, just vanilla. I'll piggyback on that and say that not only is there no cream flavor, there's nearly no classic Earl Grey flavor. On top of that, the odor and flavor smell very close to something that has spoiled. I bought two small bags, and both fit this description, so I guess this is just what David's calls "Earl Grey". Definitely not for me; I'll try to finish at least one of the bags, but stick with Tea Mansion for real Cream of Earl Grey.

At first I found this tea a bit overpowering with an addition I couldn't put my finger on. It wasn't the vanilla; it was something else. By the third cup I was hooked. This is one tea I will continue to buy. I have had countless Cream Earl Grey black teas that were very good but this one is amazing! I'm so happy to have found this.

This is my favourite earl grey, it has such a nice soft but rich flavor. Nice to have it on Amazon, where it’s super accessible to many.

The price was quite high, I thought I was getting a larger size, but the tea is good.

I first discovered this tea at the airport in the David's Tea shop. I, then, crossed paths with it again, whilst perusing for a tea on the Amazon website! What a grand find!

This product is great but if you are a tea drinker. This only will last for less than 2 weeks.
