This is very good for looking up almost any homeopathic remedy
This is very good for looking up almost any homeopathic remedy. It is in 19th century terminology so you will need a good dictionary but Clarke is logical and easy to read. There is no repertory in it. It is for students of homeopathy who want to study the subject in detail.

A Classic Homeopathic Reference Work - Historically
One of the greats, the degree of scholarship, research and old time drug usage notes is amazing. No true Homeopath can be without this one, though, it is but a summary of fuller material elsewhere.Badly in need of an Index, particularly topical.

Pages with defect
I recently purchased the books A Dictionary Of Practical Materia Medica (Vols.I, Ii, Iii), but received page 761 and 762 (vol III) with a defect. I would like to know if you could send me just these two pages - as a pdf/eletronic - so I can print them and attach them to the book.If you can send me the pages we don't need to replace the item. Thank you very much.

Buyer BEWARE
I love the John Henry Clarke Dictionary of Practical Materia Medica it comes as a three volume set. BUT buyer beware! This is listed as a three volume set. You only receive one volume. Hence 1 star.

only 1 book, instead of 3
Received first volume only, even though it's listed as 3. It's not.
