the construction quality and materials comprising the clock are properly priced; this is NOT an "exclusive" clock by any means. It is, however, attractive and functional. We were pleasantly surprised by the way it blends into our dining room. We painted it bright white; it took the paint well. Adding some colorful decor on the shelves draws the eye to the beauty of the decor; the clock quietly compliments. The chimes are not excessively loud nor do they go on and on as some more expensive clock chimes do - nice for a few repetitions then intrusive as time goes on. Instead the chimes are noticed when you want to hear them but dont interfere with television, conversations or phone use. We are very happy with the clock. It assembled VERY easily; the instructions were clear and the parts fit with no problem. It arrived well packaged and without any flaws.

FirsTime is a "family of products"...must be the "Manson Family"! During assembly of the parts found that the pieces would not aline so had to cut part of the clock to accommodate the parts that wouldn't fit as intended. The clock came with a card that says, "if not 100% happy with your purchase, contact us at [email protected], when I tired that I was redirected to Amazon.com...cannot contact FirsTime...it's BS! A rinky-dink company that charges an inflated price for their 2 bit junk! The face of the clock is all paper! So cheap. DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Especially this grandfather clock. You will be so sorry you did. The clock cost $307...Worth about $50!

I understood how the clock could be so fragile while being travelled. So when I found out that the chime was not working, I emailed the company to tell them what's wrong. The company replaced the clock, and I didn't have to return the first clock sent to me. That saved me time. I was really happy with the response I got from the company's customer service. I got value for my money. It's such a beautiful clock.

This is a cute clock for the price and is just what I needed to update a corner area. The clock is lightweight and the shelves will not hold hardcover books, but would hold a few paperbacks or some decorative items. If you are expecting a heavy grandfather clock, this is not for you. I like that it is light and was easy to put together. The pieces slide into grooves. A small tool is included. The clock runs accurately and has an electronic chime, which I have not tried out yet and will never use because I personally don't like chimes. Good for the price. The photo I attached has a little glare on the clock face. Please pardon the glare. The clock face is pretty.

Very disappointed. Damaged on delivery, flimsy parts and pieces. Overall it looks ok for what I wanted and does chime but severely overpriced for the quality

This should have cost at most $100.00. It's very flimsy and small. Very disappointing!

It won't stay accurate. Every day it loses about 20 minutes of time. One of the pegs to support the shelves was missing when it arrived. Easy enough to fix ourselves, but shouldn't have to. It's very disappointing it doesn't even work as a clock now.
