Game-Changer for Overly Warm Foundations – A Must for Custom Mixing!
After struggling with foundations that lean too orange or warm for my neutral-to-cool undertone, I thought I’d have to give up on several bottles I already owned. Thankfully, I discovered the L.A. Girl PRO.color Foundation Mixing Pigment in Blue, and it’s completely changed how I manage my base makeup. If you’ve ever purchased a foundation that oxidizes too warm or simply isn’t a true match, this pigment is a lifesaver. I did some research on color theory and learned that a touch of blue neutralizes excess orange or overly warm undertones in foundation—and this product does exactly that. The formula is lightweight and blends beautifully into liquid and cream foundations, including both traditional foundations and sheer skin tints. It doesn’t alter the texture or finish of the original product, which is a huge plus. My matte formulas stay matte, and my dewy tints keep their glow. It also doesn’t add weight or make the foundation feel cakey or heavy on the skin. I typically add a very small amount—just a drop or two—onto the back of my hand or mixing palette, and then gradually blend it into my foundation. The result is a much more natural-looking match for my skin tone. It’s also helped me stretch my makeup budget since I no longer feel the need to throw away foundations that didn’t work initially. Pros: Effectively neutralizes orange or overly warm undertones Lightweight formula that mixes easily Works well with both skin tints and full-coverage foundations Doesn’t alter the original finish or performance Saves money by reviving "off" foundation shades Cons: It’s easy to overdo it—start with a tiny amount and build slowly Final Thoughts: This blue pigment has become a permanent staple in my makeup routine. If you have a drawer full of foundations that aren’t quite right, don’t toss them—just mix in a little of this pigment and you’ll be amazed at the transformation. Highly recommend for makeup artists, enthusiasts, or anyone struggling with foundation color match issues.

Where has this been all my life?!
This stuff is AMAZING. For the first time in my life, I have a perfect color match with my foundation! I use about a half pump of the blue, with a pump and a half of my Haus Labs. I mix it on a blending palette. It does not alter the quality or consistency of the foundation at all. I dont know why foundation companies just cant get it right with their shades. I was incorrectly color matched to at least 5 different shades, nothing worked, so thank goodness for LA Girl. This is such a game changer I could cry. Thank you!

A Simple, Brilliant Solution for Impossible‑to‑Match Olive Skin
The L.A. Girl PRO.color Blue and Yellow Mixing Pigments are absolute essentials for anyone with true olive undertones. Most foundations lean too warm, peachy, or orange on olive skin, and these pigments correct that instantly. With just a tiny drop, the blue cools excess warmth while the yellow restores the subtle golden‑green balance — all without turning the foundation gray or muddy. The formula blends seamlessly into liquid foundations and finally makes it possible to create an accurate match when so many brands overlook olive undertones. It’s an affordable, transformative tool for anyone who has struggled to find a foundation that truly matches their skin. Products like these help end the frustrating, often overlooked search for a proper color match in a beauty industry that still fails to accommodate a large portion of the population.

Goth girlies...
The real goth baddies know that this isn't being used as a mixing pigment. I can't say enough good things about this white foundation. Full coverage in two layers without feeling heavy or sticky. Good neutral finish and works well with other powders or products, especially the white concealer that they also make. I find it goes on best with a brush or a wet sponge. Wears all day.

A must have product
I don’t hype a product unless it deserves it. Don’t be afraid of the product brand, worrying if it is a lesser known brand or lesser reputation because get that out of your head right now. This stuff is the business. I own several high end foundations that I have stored up and unable to use because while they are in the right “shade” they are too dark. I have heard some buzz in tiktok and some influencers mention mixing pigments and this one in particular, and for 8$ I figured it wouldn’t hurt to try considering I have hundreds of dollars of unusable foundations I have to wait until summer or abuse my skin to get it tan enough to use those shades. I purchased this in white, and figured I’d come back for blue if needed (currently blue is out of stock while I’m writing this) but as soon as I got it I went to work pulling out some of my coveted foundations to mix up and see if this would work. Some key things I was looking for were; shade lightening, change of consistency, longevity with wear while mixed, and if if would change the overall wear of my foundation. Here’s my findings. It lightened the shades perfect, depending on how many pumps of white I added. The integrity of the consistency of the foundation was not changed with the addition of the white pigment. It still went on flawless as if there was nothing added to it. Some of the foundations it was added to were long west and some were not. The king wear ones were not effected whatsoever and were still not transferring after application. The ones that were not marketed as transferproof did have some transfer BEFORE setting but after setting there was no transfer. There was no separation throughout the day with either. While reading through reviews on here I was curious what formulas of foundation this pigment would work with so I will add that in here. I added this to serum foundations as well as long wears. The foundations I tested with this pigment in white are as follows; Estée Lauder long wear, Il makiage, Lancome comfort and care, it cosmetics, and Tom ford. All performed flawlessly as if nothing was added. I hope this review is helpful to someone looking for some more clarifying answers. Also I did not mix in the bottle I squirted some out on mixing palette to mix until I got desired color. This stuff is great and cannot wait to try out the blue also. This is worth more than 8$!

Not Dry Skin Friendly
I needed a cheap white foundation for a makeup look for Halloween and came by this product which I had seen decent reviews of in the past. I have dry skin and sometimes can get patchy dry spots on my face. I also have some psoriasis around my nose and sometimes get adult acne. This foundation had a nice coverage and color to it. It can easily be built up from medium coverage to full coverage. This foundation is not dry skin friendly unfortunately, which I kind of already figured. It also made me break out a bit, but again I have sensitive skin. So, if you are more on the oily side, with less sensitive skin than this is a great foundation for you.
