**Q: How do you turn off the hourly report of time and temperture?**
A: Normal display - press mode to get into time set -  Press mode to get into alarm set -  Press mode to get into chime set. - Press hour - press mode to get into normal set , press hour .

**Q: Does this clock speak when you set it?**
A: The clock speaks the digits to you as you set it and it can be programmed to speak the time & temperature every hour on the hour or you can set it to speak the time & temp every hour on the hour between the hours of 7AM - 9PM only.  You can also set it to have it only speak when you push the button on the top.  It has alarm functions also but I haven't tried them.

**Q: does this only work as a battery operated clock or does it plug into outlet**
A: Hi Peter,No there is no DC-In jack on the clock, so batteries are the only way.But you could make a DC-In port yourself if you really need one.Aj.

**Q: is the voice volume able to be changed?**
A: I don't believe so.
