Foot Lining: Sheepskin Shearling. Height: 6" Tall. Materials: Cowhide Suede, Rabbit Fur. Sole: Tipi Vibra. Circumference: ?14". The 'mukluk' is an Indigenous word for 'winter boot'. Our ancestors created them thousands of years ago out of natural hides and fur in order to survive in the coldest places in Canada. Keewatin is a Cree word meaning north wind and the style has been passed down to us from generation to generation. Now as a contemporary Mtis company, we continue the tradition by combining modern techniques and materials to make functional mukluks for urban environments. The footbed is sheepskin-lined and the sole was made in partnership between Vibram and an Indigenous artist. PLEASE NOTE: Our Tipi Vibram Sole Mukluks tend to fit big. We recommend sizing down by one full size versus most other footwear.

Comfort and quality
They are lovely in appearance and comfortable but sadly the inside liner is not real sheepskin and is'nt as warm as they should be. I live in northern Minnesota so I need them to be warm when it's even -30 or even -40 degrees below zero F. Plenty warm for less cold winter days tho. I like them for trips to town and to church. If you buy them a little bit big, you can wear thicker wool socks and they'd be warmer then. Beautiful workmanship!!
