MAYBELLINE - Color Sensational Shaping Lip Liner, Clear - 0.01 oz. (0.28 g)

This is terrific for keeping lip color in place w/o looking like liner—- I realize that 80’s look is back with the darker liner and ombré style lip—- it just doesn’t work for those of us that did it the first time… it rarely does lol! This keeps your lip color in place and doesn’t migrate out. I outline outside of my lip area because remember this is a barrier. Maybelline products are great and they have a lot of reaserch backed products. I have also used this on my nose corners that usually melt into little foundation pools. I put this down first and then foundation over it- stays nicely!

The idea is right on, but upon first use, it broke. I don't know if it's because it's winter (even though I'm indoors so it's not like the pencil was freezing). I prefer a clear liner so I don't have to try to match my lip colors, but this one won't be purchased again. I might even return it. It's THAT bad. If it were a thicker pencil like my old ELF brand that would have worked better.

THIS ONE ACTUALLY WORKS! Clear, doesn't leave residue and stops lip sticks and gloss's from feathering. I've tried so many lip liners claiming to stop lip color feathering or bleeding. Maybeline's the winner on this! Picture shows lip color with the CLEAR liner on after 4 hours of Pickleball play. I won't be trying any other brand and save myself money and frustration. I'm an older woman with some great wrinkles, yet this product works like it says it does.

absolutely love this product it's waterproof it stays on your lipstick does not bleed or your lip oil does not bleed which is very important if you're an older woman with feathering around the line your mouth or had you been a smoker even if you're younger and you have that feathering however and it's hard to get a clear lip liner that is also waterproof so the product is not the issue the issue that I have is with Amazon and shipping it I have this unsubscribe and save cuz I go through one a month and I have yet in the last 3 or 4 months to be able to actually get the product in my box it doesn't come carded like if you were buying it in a drugstore attached to a card telling you what the product is it doesn't come bubble wrapped for example if you buy an eyebrow pencil it's carted and then the card itself is bubble wrapped and that's inside your package when you open this up because they send it with multiple other items it falls out it gets lost it just I'm out so far at least 4 months where I didn't get them and it is a pain to keep calling Amazon and asking for either a refund or a credit and then having to reorder them in fact as I sit here typing this now I am waiting for a delivery because they gave me a credit and this time I ordered two hoping they're coming taped together but they're coming again with another order which I purposely ordered them separate hoping they would ship separate and so who knows if they'll be in the box when I open it Amazon has to do better with this product they must get them in the thousands like in a giant bin and they just reaching and grab one and throw it in the box and when you're it's got 15 other items in the box that they're falling out or they're not getting put in properly when they're shipping them they should be shipped in either a bubble wrap envelope or something bubble wrapped within Amazon itself so that's a product doesn't get has something of substance to it so it doesn't get lost

This product does not go on clear; it has a white cast, so you will need to cover it with lipstick to hide it. I was hoping I could overline outside of where my lipstick would be applied to prevent feathering. I do not find it easy to use; it goes on sort of lumpy, is hard to apply and the product has to be twisted up a few times during application it so I think it will probably run out quickly. I definitely will not be repurchasing; my search for a clear lip liner continues. Note: The first one I received was empty, no product inside the tube. Amazon quickly sent a replacement.
