The Swift brand is by no means new to me and from 50 years ago, I recall the brand from my teenage years as excellent binocular manufacturers. The brand, however, has been reconfigured so I took a chance that the same quality product would be supplied. I have used this for watch/clock repairs and in that application it is simply excellent. The materials and construction is of a very good quality. The object distance enables small items to easily be worked on under the lens with two hands and with no problems at all. The flexi LED lights are great. Yes, it might be regarded as expensive but in optics you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

It works fine and has a good working distance between the bottom of the microscope and the object you're looking at. Decent crisp optics.

Great item, better quality than I was expecting very solid and well made don't usually write reviews but this deserved it, I'm using it for hobbyist watchmaking and it's perfect as I can use tools under the scope, just got it but can tell it will last for years and years
