super warm and fits my medium large head well. i like that its thin on top so i can pair it with a wool beanie or whatever hat really and have no cold spots with the mask portion. feels like its of a decent build quality.

Perfect for snowmobiling
I wear these balaclava for snowmobiling. Love the material, very comfortable with a full face helmet. Keeps your face warm without heavy fleece on your face.

Warm and toasty in cold weather
Good product. I wear it under my helmet in cold weather and it worked great. Highly recommend for any outdoor activity especially riding motorcycles in cold weather.

A good balaclava to wear together with a coat hood.
I bought this bakaclava because my coat hood was inadequate and wasn't keeping my head warm in frigid weather. It works very well with the hood. I'm not sure if I'd be satisfied with it alone. The balaclava consists of two materials: a thick knitted material around the neck and behind the head, and a thin elastic material that fits over the scalp and the sides of the head. Without a hood, I think I would want something entirely knitted to keep my entire head warm. But together with the hood, this balaclava is hightly effective. I appreciate that the opening accommodates my entire face and not just my eyes.

Good, but not for me.
I work outside in the Midwest for up to 10 hours a day and the issue that I have is that every neck warmer that I try slowly starts to hurt my neck over the course of a day/week/winter. This might be unique to me, but when I throw on all of my layers the materials from my various collars, hat, and neck warmer causes my neck to subconsciously push forward. Neck warmers seem to bunch up the most and really nudge my head/neck forward, but they sure are warm. So I’m going to keep searching. I liked that the thin part that goes over your head allows you to wear another winter hat/helmet/wig/cheesehead/whatever over top of it. The face hole did tear almost immediately as I started to adjust it, but I’ve come to expect that level of quality when buying the cheap options.

Very, very happy with this gaiter!
The neck gaiter is Super Warm and Comfortable while the part that fits over the head is light. This makes for, in my opinion the best neck gaiter ever! This enables the neck gaiter to hang around the neck and ears in very comfortable fashion: no hanging off the ears or having the neck gaiter fall down off the nose.

Must
Bought to use for construction working outside. Absolutely love it, the light head layer with a light beanie on top and my head stays comfortable all shift. The neck layer breaks the wind and keeps the heat well around the neck. 5/5
