To test I used the cheap blue caulking gun - the one that often gives up when used with regular caulk from Home Depot (of course I have a commercial strength one too just in case). Also, it is worthy to mention that this product is very tacky & I was pissed off on myself not to listen to other reviewers to wear gloves and be careful - TRUST ME THOSE HORROR STORIES ARE REAL Submerge adhesive in very hot water for an hour or so, protect the area, wear gloves, punch decent size hole, install the applicator if needed and YOU are going to be satisfied. I suspect the installer did not use the special glass primer. I cut as much of the old adhesive out using several different knives and applied the Betaseal.
