Fixed my wobbly Washing Machine
These were a pain to install (probably because I am NOT a washer repair person) but once installed, my washer stopped "walking" away during the spin cycle.I have a Kenmore He 2 Washer with 3 shock absorbers and 2 springs on top. My research showed that the wobble was either worn out shock absorbers or springs. I decided to try the absorbers first and only buy the springs if necessary. The shock absorbers worked and now my washer not only does not walk away, it's much quieter than before. The only minus is that that it did take 3 of use to replace. 1 person held the tub from falling down when the old shock absorbers were removed and the other 2 people replaced the part. We needed 2 people because of the position of the absorbers, it was too difficult for on person to remove the bolt and clip at the same time.Nonetheless, this saved us from having to purchase a new washer or paying a repair person $300+ for the repair.sweet!

Now I’m feeling guilty
About telling my daughter to quit overfilling the washing machine! A bit of research led me to these. 15-20 minutes to replace them and back to operating normally!

This will fix that banging washing machine
This was the best fix for my washing machine that kept banging, the shocks for the drum were shot..I saved 300 dollars in repairs by doing it myself..

Reasonable effort for DIY person
These shocks worked great in reducing the level of vibration and all the dancing and walking my washer was doing during every cycle. Will see how long they will survive!Installation will require moving the pump assembly out of the way to get better access to disconnecting the bolts from one of the shocks the other ones just being able to rotate the shocks 90 degrees in order to remove.

Worst Washing Machine Shocks Ever, Beyond Terrible!!
These Washing machine shocks have been terrible!! I even paid extra because the seller “claimed” these were high quality shocks. We installed these shocks less than 10 months ago and now our washing machine is shaking worse than ever. We had the original shocks that came installed in the washing machine for approximately 13 years and they were better than these even though they had 13 years of wear and tear on them. These have not even lasted a year and they are Totally worn out! They were already allowing the washing machine to shake more violently than ever within the first 6 months. If I could give these -10 stars I definitely would. Beyond disappointed with these. My recommendation to any prospective buyers: purchase absolute Anything but these!!

Worked well - on a 2006 Kenmore HE2
Worked well. Made our old washer near new. As a note, if you change these go ahead and change the upper springs too. Changing shocks and springs made it like new again.**4 week update - worked fine in the beginning, but I hate to say it, I had to take them off and purchase OEM shocks. These had so much slop and play in the bottom that we could not even wash a small load of clothes without the tub banging all around. As mentioned above in one question or review, when I took them off they all at least a 1/2" free travel and the bottom steel bushings were all loose. This caused so much rattling and movement in the tub. We spin on medium spin - always - so these were not abused. Easy to take on an off though.

Product fits, but one broke in transit... will these hold up long-term in a washer?
I'm disturbed that one of these shock absorbers arrived broken. I understand crappy packaging, but still, if they can't hold up in shipping, how long will they last in my washing machine. See the photos for where the part broke. It's in a super-critical super-stressful area, so gluing it isn't an option. These fit perfectly in my Whirlpool Duet Sport washer model WFW8300SW00. My unit only uses 3 shock absorbers, so I was able to complete the job despite one that arrived broken. This washer calls for shock absorber part W10739670. So, installation was fairly easy. The YouTube videos that show how to install these call for metric 16mm ratchet socket and 17mm wrench. My washer doesn't use metric. I needed a 5/8" and 11/16" to do the job.I'm keeping my fingers crossed that these will hold up under the pressure of regular use.

Fixed my dancing washer.
These fit great in my old Whirlpool washer. They have a sturdier design than the originals I pulled out. The new ones fixed my "banging wobble walking washer". The package comes with 4, but my smaller washer only needed 3, so I have a spare. If you are fixing this yourself, it helps to have long arms. You will need 2 ratchet sets or 2 wrenches of the correct size and a pair of adjustable pliers to rotate the top attachment for the shock absorber.
