I washed it before I intended to use it, and when I took it out of the dishwasher it was filled with water that was almost impossible to get out - I had to keep shaking it very hard to get water to drip, then left it on its end in a dish drainer for several days. I don't want a rolling pin getting filled with mold. It's also incredibly light, so when I did try and use it, it was almost impossible to roll over the dough. My hands did a similar job to the rolling pin since I essentially had to use the pin to smash down the dough rather than roll it smoothly. Like other reviews mention, the handles also don't snap in place, so a little awkward. I ended up returning it.
