Product arrived quickly, as promised. Unpacked the box and found no assembly instructions. Strike one.In addition, one of the panel corners was scuffed and stained... hoped that it was on the back side, but as you can see in the photo, it's top front and center. Strike two.I'm pretty handy, so I figured I could assemble it based on the photo, which was a little bit of a challenge but not unsurmountable. However, there was a duplicate panel... the second to bottom, left hand shelf did not have guide holes drilled in the end of the panel facing the bottom, supporting panel. Strike three.I assembled the piece in less than 15 minutes, but the last screw, which had to be tightened without the aid of a guide hole, split the shelf panel when the screw was seated. Strike four. Wait, there is no strike four.It's not fancy, or terribly well-made, but it would have been perfectly adequate to hold a few in-progress novels in my bedroom. As is, the cosmetic quality is sub-standard, even for me. And the split panel is a deal-breaker.I will gladly update this review if I hear back from the manufacturer. There is no contact information on the Amazon website. This will likely be a victim of our weekend garage sale. So long, my $33.99!

I ordered 2 of these. Neither one had instructions. Thankfully the first one I put together had the holes drilled, but the second didn’t. Be prepared for frustration.
