This entailed simply opening the outer package, then pulling a netted bag out of the center of the log; this bag contained six squirrels that I cut out of the bag. There are four offsetting holes in the body of the log, with five if you count the larger hole at the top. I put all of the squirrels back in the log & introduced her to it so that it was more intriguing than just seeing squirrels piled up next to the trunk. She immediately went for it, grabbing one squirrel after another. She first played with them by the head or tail, so she got extra excited when I showed her that the bodies squeaked. They get strewn everywhere as she roots them out, then she sticks her nose in the log & tosses it around, prancing over to me to show that she found all the squirrels. The individual squirrels are also exciting to my puppy, & it's funny to see her play with one then realize there's another in the corner to play with, then the log, then another squirrel she hasn't played with in 2mins, & then another, & so on, ad infinitum.
