Nato Strap Watch Strap – Nato Watch Straps for Men and Women with Military-Grade Nylon, Stainless Steel – 18mm, 20mm, 22mm, 24mm Wrist Strap Widths

I have used the original metal bands on all my watches (Omega & Breitling) for years but my weight tends to go up and down these days and the band can be comfortable one month and unwearable a few months later, I then diet and they are fine again. I got fed up with this and was going to change to Leather straps until I stumbled across Nato straps. I didn't understand the appeal at first but decided to try one and I'm glad I did. They are really adjustable and comfy, the range of colours means I can find a colour scheme to match any timepiece and honestly they look impressive once in place. There are two ways to wear these bands, that I know of, the traditional has the backle to the side of the watch face, that isn't for me, it is too bulky when wearing a suit and cufflinks, so I use the second method where the buckles fasten in the traditional place under the wrist. It's neater and there are plenty of tutorials on YT so you can find the way you prefer. I know it sounds daft to replace a stainless watch band that cost a lot of money with a canvass strap but they really do work and look good too. I'm getting a few of these from Sniper Bay as they can be changed in seconds to change the look to match what I am wearing. I can find no fault so far with these great Nato's from Sniper Bay. The spring pin tool is an added bonus but I'd prefer the choice as I now have 3 of them but it means I'll never be without one if I need one and you can always give one to a friend who doesn't have one. So far they are a 5 star product.

I bought this for occasional use on an Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch which came with a black leather strap and a black NATO type strap so I can compare this strap with an Omega original. . The strap arrived neatly boxed and came with a spring pin release tool. For me its another one to add to the collection but if you don't have one it makes removing a leather strap or bracelet a lot easier. These straps are of course fitted with the pins in place so the tool is not needed if going from NATO to NATO Strap. The strap itself seems well made and looks good on the watch but note this is a first impression review so I can't comment on long term use. Now to compare with the genuine Omega article. When viewed on its own this strap looks quite smart and I have no complaints. When placed next to the Omega strap there is a clear difference in quality, especially with the stainless steel fittings. The quality difference is no big surprise but does however need to be related to the cost. This strap has a delivered price which is one tenth the price of the Omega. I was seeking my first NATO strap for my Hamilton Khaki Field and didn't want to spent too much on one. I came across this one and it looked pretty good, it arrived and I was fairly pleased. It's very thin, comfortable and easy to attach and detach from the watch and is more than capable of being submerged in water. Although there is decent stitching around the watch, not glue like other poorly made straps, I did notice that after just a few days of wearing it, the end of the buckle had started fraying. So this may be an indication that it won't last that long. However, only time will tell and it of course depends on what you use the watch for and how often you wear it. Nonetheless, it's a solid strap with a range of different colours, but I did get the black.

Bought this strap 2 months ago. I needed a replacement for the leather strap my Citizen originally came with - A Citizen replacement would cost me over £50! So I went shopping... When I first looked at these I did wonder how it would feel on my wrist having been so used to a leather strap before. So far I find it very comfortable, perhaps more so than the leather one. The nylon material breathes a lot more than leather, meaning it doesn't get as sweaty/sticky/itchy after the gym or on a hot day. Don't be put off by the price tag, thinking these straps could be cheap/tacky. They aren't! -Plenty of length on the strap (excess length can be neatly tucked away) -Lots of colours and designs to choose from (I went with black to match the original look) -Comes with tool to remove and fit both straps (fiddly, but vital tool to have) -Easily washable (nice bonus as the previous one wasn't so) In hindsight for me, this was a no-brainer, very happy with the purchase.

I bought this strap as it seemed a good balance between price and quality. The nylon is thick enough to feel good quality but still flexible enough to bend around the spring bars. I like the green colour, it isn't too bright and suits a military style watch. The stainless hardware is good quality, and stitching looked good. I would be happy to buy again as after a couple of weeks wear there is no sign of fraying, (although I have removed the pin fastener and replaced with an infinitely adjustable friction one, but that's another story).

I suppose very few people buy this kind of watch just to check the time or to dive with it on. Certainly it shows the time and I am sure that you can go diving with it. I bought it for the looks though and I was not disappointed. With this NATO strap it's a stunner. The strap itself looks and feels premium and expensive but combined with this particular watch it seems spot on. Match made in heaven. There is more than one way to wear the strap and I am sure that a short search will bring you to many helpful tutorials. I like this classic way. It suits my rather large wrist. Overall highly recommended strap.

Von diesem Hersteller habe ich schon zwei Nato- Bänder bestellt und bin sehr zufrieden damit. Die Bänder sind gut verarbeitet und sehr angenehm zu tragen. Die Uhren werden sicher befestigt und durch die große Auswahl wird bestimmt jeder etwas Passendes für seine Lieblingsuhr finden. Das beiliegende Werkzeug ist praktisch und durchaus stabil, der Wechsel der Federstege stellt kein Problem dar.
