The best sounding in ear earphones for the money
I’m a big believer in wired earphones are far better than wireless, once you get past the cable. These drivers are so punchy I never have them above 2/3 of the way up. And if I did want to the sound quality is still rock solid with no clipping. I chose the option without the mic to reduce the bulk on the cable, some times I miss not having it, but my phone seems to work just fine from its internal microphone.

Quite Bulky & Poor Build Quality
Firstly, the sound quality is very pleasing. However, they are too bulky for my ears, despite trying the smallest buds, and even different buds. Unless I applied light pressure on them while in use there was zero bass response, sub or mid. Possibly due to poor fit maybe they faulty? Also, at this price point and being a flagship model I felt the build quality is pretty poor ... Very cheap and plasticy looking and feeling and NO carry pouch! Oh and the cable 😶 come on guys it's naff. Without a magnifying glass you can't see which side is left or right making attaching this naff cable a PIA ... Again very cheap and nasty quality. In comparison to my KBear K2's which fit well, sound good, have decent build quality and a better cable A BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. So, I have returned them and ordered a set of Yinyoo Kbear Robins, that even come with a carry pouch

NOT for casual listeners/audiophiles
These are not nice to listen to on a chilled day, lying in the grass in the park, or commuting around town. They're not tuned pleasantly at all. So, just move on if you're looking for something to enjoy listening to music with. HOWEVER, if you're a musician, and especially a drummer looking for something that really slams what you need into your ears when you need it, yes. Absolutely this. The transient response is so sharp and dynamic that drums will easily sit right out of any mix from studio foldback to the stage. Maybe you need that clarity on your brass, or to keep the beat through your thick electric guitars - this just SLAPS and I'm struggling to find anything that can beat it for the drumming.

For the price excellent headphones.
I found them a little bright at the top end frequencies apart from that sound quality is crystal clear and punchy.

These IEM’s are fantastic. I switched from SHURE in ears to these ones. The AS 10’s are also better for bass, my vocal range is bass baritone.

I’ve played with a number of so called chi-fi products, but my previous experience with the company KZ was limited to the ZS6 which I liked, but fit wasn’t for me. The AS10 while being same size is much smoother. No sharp edges just curves. It fits nicely even with the stock tips which I don’t mind, they have good isolation, but for longer listening sessions I prefer spinfits. Cable - this is the one caveat that I have with the built quality - I wish it wasn’t so easy to tangle, but that’s probably partially my fault for not being careful enough while rolling it Sound - coming from the ZS6 which has obviously V-shaped signature, the AS10 feels a lot more balanced. Mid bass is still boosted and there is a peak somewhere in the 5-7Khz area but the midds don’t seem to be pushed back. Overall I really like the tuning of this IEM, especially for the price. The 5 balanced armature drivers sound coherent. Vocals are natural, electric guitars sound great. The boost in the bass makes them great for edm, rock and plenty of other genres. “Right next door to hell” by Guns N’ Roses has a great bass riff in the beginning and AS10 handles it excellent, fast and clean. Reminds me of planar bass. “Angel” by Massive Attack is a good test for lows, it hits pretty deep but in control, without any mud. “Hold on” by Amber Rubarth is a favorite of mine vocal track with great soundstage and acoustic instruments all around you - sounds great, she is right in the middle of the mix, not too forward or too far back. Another favorite track for me that has a whole world inside to explore is “Quizas Quizas Quizas” by Pink Martini. I love her voice with all the little details in the background. There is moment at 0:35-0:37 when her voice gets sibilance if listened on the wrong gear, but AS10 does it well without any harshness. Soundstage and imaging are decent on this iem, I’m tempted to compare with a much more expensive Item that I have but it would not be fare. Overall I’m impressed with the sound of this IEM. It’s a very strong competitor for the price range. I’m curious to see what KZ will do in the future

I used normal apple earphones in my church band ... now these headphones amplify the experience and bring a smooth sound to my ears! Great mid-range headphones
