I used moderate pressure, like when I use a pencil to write, and then I used a very light touch, where the pencil was barely touching the paper. I didn't expect to be able to see the very light line, but I could. It's faint, but visible. It does have a pretty high tack, so you may want to test it on an untreated canvas first, like someone else mentioned. I don't know anything about that, though.
