First of all, I'll let the photo do the talking on what was improved. (Spoiler: everything) The headphones I have are the Bose Soundlink 2 headphones and these ear cups are seriously like I bought a new pair. I've been using these headphones for the better part of 2 years now and Arizona weather and heat has not been kind to these but they still work! The cushions themselves are nice and plump to the touch, same feeling foux leather that the original ear cups were made of. They have a nice seel for ambient noise cancelation and are really comfortable to wear. The installation process was as simple as watching a 2 minute video on YouTube and installing them in about the same time. The kit comes with the inner ear padding with 3M double sided tape to adhere them to the inside and the cups themselves clip right into place using the little tabs that hold them in place. The only improvement I could think of would be to make the inner ear pads a slightly smaller cut maybe by about 1mm so it fits better inside and a slightly larger cut out for the notch on the side, although this is a "one size fits all" type of situation covering most older model bose headphones so can't complain at all. Overall a very well made and cheap replacement to keep your headphones going for a while longer!

i’ve gotten these twice for my bose quietcomforts. they’re comfortable and quality replacements for the original pads, and i’ve enjoyed using them. they cover the ears well, and i’ve fallen asleep with them several times over. durability-wise, they’ve lasted me around a year or two each time, depending on how worn they get before i finally decide i should probably replace it. the blue inner mesh pieces have stayed on through a lot of use, and the only thing that really gets worn down is the black fabric, which is expected. all in all, 10/10 ear pads

These are not quite as plush as the original; a bit lower profile. On the plus side, the space from bottom to top of the ear pad is a bit larger so it is easier to get them on without folding your ears into the padding. Directions were pretty good for removal and putting in the replacement units. I would have given 5 stars but the seal between the headphone and the ear pad is not as good as the Bose original - lets in more ambient sound which negatively impacts sound quality.

These replacements work perfectly (as good as originals). Plus, a lot less expensive than original replacements. A little tricky to install but with patience, they do the job.

Fit perfectly on my QC25s. Install was easy and exactly as described in the instructions (no tools needed). Pads feel a little stiffer than the originals, but not uncomfortably so.

Great Value for money. I bought two of these for my boy's old BOSE Soundlinks as the pads on those were looking grabby. Easy enough to apply - although I did need a little plastic "aid" on one of these as i have short fingernails and found it a little tricky getting the pads to click in. Anyway, that being said less than 20 mins later both headphones now look good as new. Also, be careful with the adhesive on L and R cushion. Be sure you do not peel off the entire thing - aka leave the sticky part\backing intact so it has something to stick onto! Recommended Product. Would I buy this again? Yes, definitely.
