Perfect!
Let’s start with sizing since I’ve read a lot of reviews about sizing down. I was able to order my shoe size (9) and had no problems with the fit. I was very nervous about that since I placed my order before reading all the reviews lol. They are stiff but that’s expected for being brand new. After using them two days I. A row I definitely feel them breaking In a little and have a little more give to them than the first try on. They are fairly comfortable besides that. They glide so well on blacktop, sidewalk, and the road. I have not skated since I was a teenager years and years ago so when I came across my first bump in the road I thought for sure I was gonna eat the asphalt but the skates rolled over it with ease and that shocked me a lot. lol definitely recommend these skates! If you’re on the fence about it, just do it!!!! They are so so worth it! They ride so smooth and maneuver so well. They look so pretty too. Easy to lace up. All that good stuff. All around a good skate.

Great, super cute skate! Very stable and supportive.
This is a great skate particularly for beginners or if you’re looking for more support. I feel more stable in these with the stiffness of the boot and the longer wheelbase versus my suede Luna skates. I got these more for cruising outdoors and beginner skate park. Maybe when they get more broken in or I get stronger it will be easier to use it also for some dance moves but it’s definitely less flexible than a suede boot. As of this review, I’m up to about 6 hours in them. They look just like the photos. The boot is a soft, buttery yellow with peach-coral laces. The box and charm are cute too. I appreciate that it already comes with the skate tool and toe caps. On comfort… The very first time I put them on, yeah, kind of painful (vs a suede boot) but I re-laced and it was ok. So, they’re good when I’ve laced them right. I now lace once halfway up, then pull up and adjust the tongue, wiggle my foot around, and then I tighten starting from the toe and then lace all the way up. Other observations… They are much warmer than a suede boot. The stock laces are a bit slippery so if you want a more snug, secure fit, I’d recommend changing laces. I’ve seen some not great reviews about the wheels but I’m quite liking them. They’re pretty grippy and stable. Depends what you’re looking for I guess. Tip on sizing: I bought a 6 and it fits well. Best to measure your foot length for both feet as that is a universal measure. I’m a 24-24.2cm. In regular shoes, I wear 7 or 7.5 (EU 37/38) depending on the brand.

Moxi Beach Bunny, Lolly or Sure-Grip Boardwalk?
I ordered these Beach Bunnies in periwinkle and LOVED them. They are super snug when you try them on, but follow the sizing on the Moxi site, don't listen to some of the reviews saying they bought their normal size. I am guessing those people did not put them on all the way, lace them up and ride around in their house. I am mostly an 8.5 and I got size 7. I thought my feet were being crushed when I put them on, but they loosened up in the front to back direction with a very thin sock (you should be able to be able to wiggle your toes when you bend your knees in true skate position.). However, after three days of this, they were just too tight around the ball of my foot and I know they won't stretch because they are vinyl :(. Sadly, I looked for other options. I then went with the Sure-Grip Boardwalk, size 7 in purple. These are suede so will stretch. I got them and they felt too big, but I got out a thick sock and tried to love them (I bought them through RollerSkateNation and they wanted $20 restocking fee AND to pay the shipping back!), I really tried to love them...but they just did not glide like the Beach Bunnys and the suede was so stiff and rubbed my ankles to death. They also hurt the back of my legs. So, too torture myself, I got a third option (but through Amazon this time, so I can send them back. Lesson learned). Next option, the super expensive Moxi Lollys. I got them in purple, size 7. First, they are beautiful and not counterfeit, like some say on these site. Someone said that they were supposed to have ABEC 7 bearings and these came with 5 so they were counterfeit. I looked them up on the Moxi site and they say ABEC 5, so I am not sure where they got that idea. Anyway, these are genuine, same box, same skates and come with the skate tool. So, how were they? Oh my god! They are amazing and fit perfectly! I immediately wore them out knowing that I am going to have to buy them and pay that stupid fee to send the Boardwalks back because, well, they really are amazing. The only thing I would mention is that the could have a little more cushioned insole, but I can add one. So, all and all, if you foot was a little more narrow, I would have been completely and utterly happy with the Beach Bunnies, but, since they weren't going to stretch, I had to opt for the more expensive Lolly, but I won't regret it!!!!

Nice skates
Beautiful skates, but as a size 38 with wide feet, the size 6 did not fit. I am returning for the next size up.

Moxi Beach Bunny Roller Skates
I absolutely LOVE these roller skates. However, I took away 1 star because the black toe stoppers are too rough in my opinion. The VERY FIRST TIME I used the roller skates, the toe stopper was so abrupt that it threw me down and broke off! I thought I could reattach it but it was literally “Broken”. This was the same day I received the roller skates so that was a big disappointment, considering the price I paid for them. That night, I ordered the cute Moxi toe stoppers that look like flowers. I received them 2 days later and they are AMAZING! These toe stoppers are top tier for a smooth and controlled stop. The roller skates are VERY stiff and tight right out of the box, so my first day wearing them was pretty painful and uncomfortable. I was able to loosen and soften them in 2 days by placing them beneath a hairdryer on moderate heat several times each day. Between each time, I manipulated them with my hands and stuffed them with socks. This really helped, especially around the ankle areas and the sides. I wore them again 3 days later and it was so much better. I skated for about 2.5 hours that day and felt very comfortable by the time I took them off. These are really good quality roller skates with a ton of padding on the inside. They also look great and are eye catching. I have received many compliments on them in just the two days of roller skating. I chose them based on internet reviews, which have been accurate so far.

It was my first pair of skates and I really like them. Comfortable and good support, for a beginner like me this was important. The wheels are perfect for outdoor skating. You do have to adjust the screws after receiving them, but I think this is standard for a new pair of skates.

Those rollers are colourful and beautiful, but a pain to wear! If you have a wide type of feet, look into something else, breaking in those skates is a long and painful journey! I wasn’t up for it, so I returned them.

They are GORGEOUS. I do have a couple of criticisms that are no reflection on the seller. The first is the bearings that come as standard on these skates. They feel like hard work compared to the Candi Girl skates I have been using. I have purchased grade 9 bearings to replace the grade 5s on these and hopefully that will help. The second is more of a warning, and that is the toe stops were on SO TIGHT. The spanner that was supplied was not up to the job and I ended up slipping and hurting myself before purchasing a giant adjustable spanner.

Sehr schade!

If you were really wondering if the moxi beach bunny’s are worth it, and you’re teetering on the idea, just buy them. The most important piece of advice you should take from this review is the sizing. I have a LARGE foot. Fat foot. I wear a size 9 because my feet are WIDE. I’m talking 10.3cm wide, and a 9 usually gives my toes enough wiggle room. if you have feet like mine, trust me and buy a size 8. I ordered a 9 even though everyone told me to order a size down and they ended up being delivered as a size 8. I was extremely disappointed at first but I’m sure glad they messed up. They are going to be a little stiff because they’re new, just loosen the laces at the front. I love these skates. They’re beautiful, they fit perfectly, and i love the way they carry me
