I use lemons and limes only, and the little wooden citrus squeezers I have works perfectly well. I slice the lemon, push the wooden citrus shaped or oval shaped tool into the lemon and rotate my wrist. All of the lemon or lime juice is extracted. I do this with a filter over a bowl, so that all the seeds are caught.When I use this large stoneware juicer, I find it too bulky and too big to use for one lemon or lime. My daughter uses a lot of lemons to place in a pitcher of water for a refreshing drink.
