Q: is it good for color treated hair ??

YES! my hair hasn't been its natural color in years. I also have extensions which my stylist said it is good for as well.

Q: Can someone describe the fragrance in a greater detail than " tropical", please?

I realize this is way later than the other answer, but to me it smells like lemon sweet tarts. Probably one of the best smelling shampoos on the market. (This is for the level 2 blue bottle).
