I like the citrusy, light aspect to this spice. Many spices used in Indian cooking would be described as warm; I wouldn’t describe this spice as warm so it can be interesting to use for those lighter, less heavy feeling dishes.

Es schmeckt fruchtig sauer. Ich benutze es für Saucen und Süßspeisen. Milch bringt es zum gerinnen. Schmeckt super in Joghurt oder Kuchen oder in Bratensauce

Excellent fresh dried mango powder with bright acidity. Love it in samosas and as addition to other recipes.

So happy Amazon has this hard to find spice. I use this for my Indian dishes, and we eat quite a few Indian meals a week! Amchoor is a predominant flavoring agent in north Indian dishes, where it is used to add a sour tangy fruity flavor without moisture. I use it to flavor samosa and pakora fillings, stews and soups, fruit salads and pastries, curries, chutneys, pickles and dals and to tenderize meats, poultry, and fish.
