Keep Hammering edition
Great release, helps eliminate punching.

Absolutely awesome release. Stop looking and just buy it!
I've been using an index release for 34 years and none compare to this for quality, comfort, crisp break at the shot or simplicity. I love the open hook design and the barrel is solid. The flip back feature and trigger sold me on this from my old Scott Shark II and Tru Ball caliper. No more target panic waiting for the trigger to break. Zero travel on this one. Great job Spot Hogg!

Worth it
For a finger trigger release, this is the only one you should ever buy. Hot trigger, improves accuracy 100% less shot punching since it’s so hot. If you are getting a thumb release or a hinge there’s no better release than UltraView 100%, if you are looking for the best finger trigger release, this is the best one ever made. Quality materials, thousands of shots at 80lbs without any issue. This thing is a game changer and is worth every penny

Love this release
The wise guy is a great release. It is very simple and very durable. You can adjust it for a left or Rand handed shooter and have the ability to adjust how heavy or light you want the trigger. The strap is very thick and is way better than using a velcro strap. If you’re on the fence for a new index release just go for it, you’ll love it.

The Best on the Market Hands Down.
I have tried 4 other releases including Scott, TruFire, TruBall and BK Hunter. They are OK but I wish I had found this Wiseguy 2 years ago when I started! Some reviews say the strap is made to fit large hands but I have small hands and when I put it on there was still 2 holes to go. This is without a doubt the best release out there. You can set it firm or scary light. I prefer it very light. No more target panic because this release sends your arrow downrange the instant you want it to. Buy it and you will sell or give away any other release you own. Update, I have only been using this release for 2 days and I want to add that it is so smooth that I had to reset my sight pins and on the 2nd day I "robin hooded" an arrow from 15 yards in a 10 mph wind. If you do not want to spend a lot of money on arrows then never aim at the same spot you just sent an arrow while using this release. Update again, I have had this release 10 days now and in that time I have Robin Hooded twice and shot all bullseyes on my home archery range. I have 16 targets set up from 10 to 40 yards and have only hit all the Bullseyes twice in two years using other releases. I have hit them all twice in 10 days using the Wiseguy and the other times I miss the 3-inch bullseye at 40 yards it is only by 1" or less. This release won't cure your mistakes but it will reduce your misses.

Hunter beware before you buy!
The release is all around amazing. Fits all size wrists, light weight and easy to use. BUT if you are using this for Hunting MAKE SURE you put it on before getting in the stand. Due to the BOA being loud when you tighten it. I’ll be buying the buckle spot Hogg for daily hunting and have this one for a back up. But it’s a great release. Only 4 stars due to the BOA being little too loud.

Amazing Release that will improve your shooting
This is an excellent release. I was shooting a tru-fire edge fold back, which is a very nice release. I was having a trigger "punch" issue that was hurting my accuracy because there was too much trigger travel. I decided to try this because of the zero trigger travel. My thoughts after a hundred or more shots: - amazing trigger. Seriously. No trigger play at all and you can get a scary-light trigger. Hands down, my groups got better overnight. For this reason alone, the wise guy is now my release of choice. - made in usa and lifetime warranty. - I prefer my tru-fire wrist strap, which has a strap buckle and a padded wrist band that is more comfortable. That being said, there is nothing wrong with the wise guy, I just prefer the tru-fire strap more. - the fold back mechanism on the wise guy doesn't seem like it will hold as well as other fold backs... BUT, it has worked like a champ thus far, so I think this is a case of preference and I will get accustomed to the wise guy fold back, which works just fine. - I have large hands and average wrists, but I am buckled on the second to last hole in the strap. This is definitely made for guys with wrists like a ham hock... - I did have to adjust my anchor point and my pins to adjust for the forward trigger design. A different feeling, but not a bad thing giving how much better I am shooting. Overall, I'd give it 4.5 stars because I think they could do better on the strap. I'm rounding up to 5 stars because of the amazing improvement in my shooting, the warranty, and made in the usa. Well done, Spot Hogg!

BEST ON THE MARKET
I've been shooting archery now for about 30 years. I've shot a bunch of different releases and this is the best one. I recently got a Trufire Hardcore buckle and its a good release. There were a couple key things that I don't like about it. Mainly, I thing the Truefire is too long. The Wiseguy can get really short. I have big hands, I can palm a basketball. I think most people make the mistake of not having a short enough release. This is the answer. People are saying that this has a hair trigger. I think not. Its a solid trigger with a solid break. I think it seems like a hair trigger because there is absolutely no creep. I was a little concerned about the strap at fist as far as comfort but after using it, it works fine. Love the release. My son (13) and I both shoot better with this. Stop looking and order one. Worth the money!

It’s good but expensive and the description/ images could be clearer as it isn’t clear what you’ll get in terms of the strap

I am surprised just how good this release is. I was pretty nervous purchasing it without having ever tried a Wiseguy and skeptical about all the hype -- I didn't really believe a release would have any significant impact on my precision (grouping) and especially my accuracy. Especially since the Wiseguy does not have any of the fancy hinges and pivots to keep any twist or sideways pull out of the string, and I was not willing to make the step to a back-tension or a hinge release for hunting. Well, I was so wrong. I've been using a $40 Blackout dual jaw release for 3 years (my first release) and although I have become a decent archer and practice religiously, I have struggled with consistency, thinking that the only issue was me. No amount of breathing technique, back-tension releasing, or follow-through completely fixed my woes. I got the Wiseguy today, pulled it out of the package as is (the length and trigger sensitivity was already set perfect for me), and was repeatedly hitting exactly 2" left of target at 30 yards. A quick adjustment to my bow sight, and I was hammering dead center, shot, after shot, after shot. I still can't believe it. I can't believe that a quality wrist release has made this much of a difference and that it took me 3 years to try it. Not to mention, this thing is built so solid and is very comfortable. No loose parts, no rattling or squeaking, super crisp and satisfying.

My release showed up a day early. Out of the box it's sturdy and ready to shoot. The strap is very nice and comfortable. From the factory it does have a extremely light trigger, But is easily adjustable to stiffen up. I look forward to shooting more with this!

Arrived before delivery date, and I am very happy with product. Just one thing to note. The release pictured on the screen when I ordered was a soft strap, however i received the hard strap. At first I was disappointed, but after trying it, I like its features. Overall though, very happy with purchase, and will order from seller again.
