I never used it much when it was first gifted to me, but when my kids became old enough to be interested, it became a great go-to toy. They could still get hurt with these darts, but not nearly as much as metal tipped darts, so this is a good choice for responsible and supervised kids in my opinions. However, the stock darts that came with the board were fraying, and the tips were broken on a few. Plus, I wanted cooler looking darts.These fit the bill for the cool factor, and they have a nice weight to them. What I'll say is that they do take a little getting used to. While I rarely have a mis-hit on a stock dart that came with the board, these do bounce out on occasion. I imagine it will improve as I get used to them, but it was a surprise when it happened for the first time.Long story short, these are nicely weighted, seem good quality, and were a good value for the fun factor.
