They provide great arch support and fit as expected for the shoe size. i can wear these shoes all day and the massage dots have a fantastic feel to them. They are very comfortable and it is great because it provides your feet with great massaging feelings all day. I have to warn you however that they do take a while to get used to. When you first wear them and walk around, they can be quite painful for the bottom of your feet. For that reason, I suggest that you wear socks the first few times you wear them until you get more acquainted with the massage beads. Another thing is that when you start to wear them without socks, it leaves the bottom of your feet having little dot imprints (they go away in a few minutes after removing the slippers). Another thing is that over long uses, some of the beads tend to fall out. However, this is not a big deal. All in all, I would recommend this product. Also, do yourself a favor and get a pair of really soft, plush slippers to switch to when you're done working around the house and want to just relax your feet. I buy another pair, when my other ones wear out. For the first time user, the nubs definitely take getting used to. You might only be able to wear them for a couple of hours each day for about 3-4 days. Then your feet get used to them, and you can wear them all day long. They are great for just wearing around the house, to and from the gym/pool, or if you just want comfy shoes for a store run. There is some arch support, given that a lot of sandals are just flat, but they aren't orthotics either. They fit just a bit large, so even though I wear a 7 1/2, I usually get half a size down and go with a 7.
