It’s a great item But it should be standard with every fire pit. $100 for a stand!!! I see a Lot of people use bricks.

In my opinion your Solo fire pit will last longer sitting upon this stand, especially if you’re using it on the lawn/ground. I don’t like the dirt splashing from the rain. So the stand will keep it out of the dirt. Also the extra lift gives the stove height which makes it, in my opinion a little more safer on your deck or yard when young ones are in the area. In addition to a lid which keeps it dry between fire usage the Cover will keep everything protected from the elements throughout the year. We enjoy our Solo Stove on the stand setup on patio stones on our pool deck for additional height. It doesn’t get the deck/floor hot but throws plenty of heat to sit by on chilly nights. We love it for family gatherings any season. You will too! It’s priced better on Amazon.

The ring is great. Fit perfectly inside and out. Quality is very good. I only gave it 4 stars because of the price. It really is only worth about $40.

This stand is great in that it adds to the look of your Solo Stove, and is made of strong stainless steel metal. The Solo Stove sits on top of the stand but does, not attach to it in any way, which might raise a concern of the stove being accidentally pushed off by some. Concrete blocks might serve the same purpose if the stand is set on grass or a wooden deck, but transportability makes it useful for anywhere. The stand stores neatly inside the stove and while not necessarily one of the most needed accessories ( lid and shield are higher priority add ones, in my opinion)it makes the stove a little more attractive looking. Apparently, the cool air that circulates through the holes and under the stand is supposed to help the fire, but I did not notice a big difference compared to having the stove set on concrete blocks. If you have nothing to put your stove on, then I would say the stand is essential for many surfaces. Overall, I really like it!

Seems to be genuine stainless steel and doesn’t change shape after a hot burn in the stove above
