This is a strong sheet of substantial, sturdy plastic with small studs over one surface to grip a carpet and keep the sheet in place. These have caused no damage to the carpet after a month of prolonged daily use. It is designed for an office type chair with wheels and such a chair glides effortlessly across its surface. The chair wheels do not scratch or scuff the surface of the plastic at all. It will obviously protect a carpet from any chair whether it has wheels or not. The product will additionally protect a carpet from spills. Overall this is a very well made, high quality and very useful product. It is quite amazing how freely the chair moves as compared to moving across a carpet. Highly recommended and well worth waiting the couple of weeks it took to arrive from Germany.

Having a brand new carpet fitted, I didn't want to ruin it with my office chair. This is strong and durable and well worth the money. Having read the reviews of others on the market, this came out tops and for good reason. It comes flat (and couldn't be rolled even if you wanted to) so there are no curly corners to trip on, the office chair wheels glide effortlessly over it, and it's so strong that your carpet will be well protected. Excellent product.

Fantastic product and works really well on a carpeted office. Over time, it became brittle and cracked in places. Some small bits broke off, but it remained structurally sound and useable overall. After 3 years, I bought a new one. Good value and worth the cost - I use every day for about 10 hours.

I bough this product for one carpeted room. It worked well, and am very happy. I wanted to buy another mat , so I ordered the same product with a bigger size, but this does not fit correctly, so I had to return it. The description of measurements are accurate in FEET, but not correct in CM. I think the manufacturer and Amazon should address this point and accurately show the size measurements. I then ordered another mat which were the correct size from another manufacturer, and this broke within a week. So I requested a refund and received it without a problem. So I really liked the Kaiser mat, and I ordered the same one as before, even if it slightly smaller. This is a good product, and so far it has not cracked.

I purchased this mat (for hard floors) to protect my carpet because I am using an office chair. Although the mat is thin, it is very strong. The chair castors glide very easily on the mat and leave no dents or marks on the mat. Although the mat is for hard floors and slides a little on the carpet over a few days, it is not really an issue for me. I agree with other reviewers that it is better than the one for carpets only because this one has 2 uses - hard floors and carpet. It has no sharp corners and does arrive completely flat and ready to use immediately on arrival. Finally remember to place smooth side facing the floor. The packaging could be sealed better and taped completely around all the edges, I was lucky the product did not fall out get damaged during transit!

Had to set up an office space in my lounge during lock down, and after the shortest time of using an office chair on castors, I could see that the carpet was taking a hammering. I bought this mat, it was the cheapest one I could find. However, when it arrived I was REALLY surprised at what good quality it is. I expected it would be cheap and pucker up when I moved my chair, but it's pretty solid - it flexes just enough. It has small (safe) spikes on the underside to bed it in to the carpet and stop it from moving around. It's been in place for three or four days now, and it's great - it's much easier to manoeuvre in my chair too, as it's like being on a hard floor. In summary - it's good, I like it.

Arrived flat , good quality , as described. BUt now two years later , it has failed , Cracks ,holes , today I cut my foot on the surface crack. Two years useage , buy elsewhere.

This is a tremendous acquisition. I have now had this for over a month and it is perfect for my working from home needs - protects my carpet - non-slip and heavy duty durability. A bit pricey - but in reality - you are getting a quality product that will last for a long time. There are no issues, and it stays on the carpet with no slippage whatsoever - easy to clean. Good quality.

Elegí el policarbonato, porque a pesar de ser más caro que el vinilo, por todos los comentarios que leía, el vinilo o PVC era "imposible" que asentara en el suelo si te lo envían enrollado. Este es imposible de enrollar. Hice 2 pedidos por separado y en ambos casos la plancha vino estirada. No es tan transparente como el vinilo, pero si muy resistente. Se adhiere bien al suelo por su parte lisa. Muy buen precio con respecto a otros que vi del mismo tamaño. Entrega rápida.

Ich nutze das Produkt nun seit über einem Jahr regelmäßig und kann nichts Negatives berichten. Die Qualität überzeugt nach wie vor, es zeigt weder Verschleiß noch Funktionsprobleme und erfüllt seinen Zweck genauso zuverlässig wie am ersten Tag. Gerade bei längerem Gebrauch zeigt sich, ob ein Produkt wirklich gut verarbeitet ist – und hier passt alles. Verarbeitung, Haltbarkeit und Alltagstauglichkeit stimmen, weshalb ich den Kauf auch rückblickend als sinnvoll empfinde. Fazit: Wer ein langlebiges und zuverlässiges Produkt sucht, ist hier richtig. Nach einem Jahr Nutzung kann ich es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden! Zu dem günstigen Preis hatte ich eigentlich erwartet, mit einigen Abstrichen leben zu müssen, aber das Doppelte bis Dreifache für so eine Matte zu zahlen, war es mir auch nicht wert. Ich dachte, ich probiere diese hier einfach mal aus, und das hat sich gelohnt! Die Matte liegt bei mir auf einem glatten Melanboden. Ich bin von mehreren Seiten auf unterschiedliche Arten draufgetreten, um zu sehen, ob sie rutscht. Aber sie rutscht nicht!! Wenn man fest mit dem Fuß schiebt, dann bewegt sie sich naürlich ein bisschen, aber so beim normalen Drauftreten überhaupt nicht! Nur muss man sie schon richtig herum auf den Boden legen. Ich dachte zuerst, die raue Seite gehört nach unten. Das ist aber falsch, die glatte Seite nach unten und die raue Seite nach oben, sonst besteht nämlich akute Rutschgefahr! Die Matte wurde in einem großen, flachen Karton geliefert - sie war nicht eingerollt, wie ich eigentlich erwartet hatte. Das ist ein großer Vorteil, denn so kann man sie sofort verwenden. Wäre sie eingerollt, müsste man sie vermutlich erstmal einige Zeit liegenlassen, bis sie keine Wellen mehr schlägt. Außerdem stinkt die Matte nicht! Ich konnte sie sofort nach Erhalt an ihren vorgesehenen Platz legen. Ich bin mit diesem Kauf absolut zufrieden!
