String Swing Guitar Wall Mount Hanger with Keeper Strap- Electric Acoustic and Bass Guitars CC01K-BW

There are so many knock-offs of this product, but the price difference is so minimal that I prefer to support and buy a product that is helping support a person in the USA. I buy enough product that is made overseas so it is nice when I have a choice. Great product, and I am on my 5th one. Each guitar I buy will have to have a new one. They are very strong and the look nice. The cushioned arms do not leave a single mark.

I purchased two. One for a electric guitar (BC Rich) weighing 6-ish pounds and one for a 5 string bass (Warwick Thumb) weighing over 11 pounds. Works great for both. I mounted these to studs so I can't talk to the molly bolt connection but they are very sturdy. Love the rubber locking band - good safety for dogs and kids. Would buy again.

Solid mount. Looks great. And with the added strap, keeps my guitar secure from my toddler. (most wall mounts don't come with a strap - so be aware).

I really like this guitar hanger, but do yourself a favor and get some 3" screws and screw it to studs. If you have to put it in drywall, get some toggle hangers instead of the plastic drywall screw things it comes with. Do you want to trust 3/4" of drywall to keep your guitar from crashing to the floor? The walnut block is a nice touch, and the hanger has some sort of rubberish padding. It holds my guitar nice and snug.

Studs are/were the perfect width apart and installation was extremely easy, all three took about 15 minutes. They do swivel and let the headstock rest easily with no stress to the neck. Had them in for almost 6 month and never had any indication of failure at all. I’m not sure how well these locking straps would work as I’m not testing it out voluntarily, and haven’t had to test them yet thankfully.

I have to say that overall I am pretty impressed with this hanger. I am using it with my Yamaha acoustic and the holding ability is nice. My two minor "issues" with this hanger are; 1) The keeper strap doesn't seem all that tough / stiff. I would have likes something slightly more stout. You can easily pop it off by twisting the guitar / neck. Because the keeper strap was the main draw for me, I just think it could be a bit more tough / thick to better protect a serious bump that could cause the guitar to fall from the hanger. 2) As many others have stated, the wood / sheet screws included aren't really designed to work with the plastic drywall only plugs. They are definitely threaded different, and designed for a different size / thread screw. That said though, I don't really see trusting this (or any other hanger) to reliably hold in drywall only. That is just too much weight, leverage and value to trust to those plugs. I would encourage (and did) using a stud. A true molly hanger or something else might work, but I would personally go for a stud and if you need other placements, just mount a secondary board to the wall studs and then mount the hanger to that secondary board. Again though, these are minor issues and I would still recommend this hanger to anyone, just go for a stud, one way or the other.

Love the look and sturdiness of this guitar hanger. I had already purchased two others for banjo and mandolin. This one matched those perfectly. You cannot go wrong with this product.

The wooden part is great, I like it, as well as the sustain. But the Fischers provided are from cement wall! Please, specify this detail in the description!
