Perfect a gift for a friend and he loved it!

Liked the design and thought the quality was okay when it arrived... nearly 12 months on now and its been through the winter and spring weather, the LED light unit doesn't function too well anymore and the top section of the hat has lost its shape. It did its job by keeping my head dry but when used for a few hours (delivery driver, in and out of van) the rain got through... sprayed with a water repellant helped. UPDATE 4/11/2019 - bought a second hat to replace the first one. LEDs finally stopped working even after changing the batteries. I've sprayed the cap with a waterproofing agent on receipt so that it helps to repel rain from the get go.

Great product and perfect for evening dog walks. The light is bright, easy to switch on and off and the charge lasts for several months before needing to be charged again.

Theoretically a clever design. User friendly cap peak button and sensible level of light to find your way. Battery compartment switch is a good idea, but cheap component that is not confidence inspiring in use. Worst aspect - cable connector is loose so creates intermittent fault - if the light goes off I need to “wobble” the cable. Good idea, poorly executed

I love this cap as it means I can see in the dark. The light is enough to light up the path or to find my seat in the cinema without disturbing others etc. I’ve had many compliments on it and the fact that it uses USB is brilliant as it’s far better, cheaper and more reliable than button batteries. The only negative is that it would be better if the cap was a neater design that wasn’t so long at the sides which rub on my ears and didn’t have the bobble on the top.

My mum wanted to get this for my dad’s birthday as walking in some areas with no lights is not good. Needless to say he loved it. Easy to charge and very bright as well. Would recommend this for dog walker

Quite handy for night walks. Initially thought it was defective because it wouldnt turn on even after charging to full. There's a second on/off switch on the rechargeable unit itself.
