Removable rider and weapons
Nice quality toy knight and rider of slightly smaller scale than the toys in the Chad Valley castle set. The scale is close enough to be used together, but you can tell the difference when they are next to each other. The rider can be removed from the horse and the weapons can be removed and changed, but the clothing, armour, and the horse's tack are all fixed, and the knight and horses poses are fixed. The knight can stand independently as can the horse, so still lots of play potential. The material is a slightly flexible plastic and seems strong, and the details are painted on, and seem durable so far. I would recommend this for primary aged children with an interest in battles or horses, and a preference for very realistic toys, as the detail is really good, but the weapons are too small for very young children.
