Q: How long should I keep the iron on to get them to stick?

Put a plain cloth over them before ironing. I used high heat otherwise they may come off. Just read the instructions and once they are on, let them cool and then apply heat again.

Q: My letters didn't come with instructions

Just make sure you have your iron hot enough and the Letters are heated thoroughly. I would iron them on the front of the fabric and then turn the fabric wrong side out and iron them on the back as well. Turn the fabric right side out and then iron them on the front again. If your iron is too hot, you might ruin the fabric, so be careful. The Letters are thick so the iron has to be hot enough to melt the glue on the other side of the Letters

They are small but only a few will go on a face mask

Q: Can i put clothing with patches in washing machine and dryer?

As long as your iron is hot enough, the patches will stay on.
